- my favorite area by far. the music is really cool
we started to have trouble here as we lost once or twice (i think?). these effects are no joke.

if it wasn't for the AI being slower here, this area would easily be the worst to manage lol

These videos make the connected zones look fun. I just bought the game on PC yesterday and starting out with randos wasn't very fun. People kept not dropping and it was an experience that lasted forever.
Everyone has to take turns placing Tetriminoes, even in stasis mode.
game is on sale right now, bought it, did journey mode, 100% worth it already, went to play online for a bit and I was wondering if I was missing something from the connected mode, so I decided to watch some doremy to figure what I was doing wrong
turns out people doing the noob areas expectedly are bad at the game, but like, in a pretty extreme way. Takes forever to decide their move and realize it's turn-based, doesn't know what a hard drop is, etc.
Greatest teamwork I've seen so far.

I still think the concept of this mode is neat, but I really don’t like how far away the hold and next are..(as well as the fact there’s only one next..)

Advice from someone much worse than you: hold an I piece and get a second one queued up if possible right before connected zone hits.

I still haven't gotten this game even though I want it. I know I can't place pieces fast enough and it stresses me out. I could never get very far in Lumines on PS3.

I've never played this game but it looks super cool. I have a question though, how come sometimes its easier for the player on the far right hand side (idk if its like a player or boss or smth) to clear the garbage (?) lines that the three players sent, and other times the lines just never go away no matter how many regular lines they clear? I hope my question makes sense I had a hard time wording it lol I really wanna understand what's going on.
boss's garbage cleaning doesn't work like normal.
boss clears lines by using attacks when on defense mode.
boss can only go on defense mode when players are doing a connected zone attack.
if there are no garbage lines on the boss's board then it's attacks build up to defend against the connected zone attack.
The boss also can change between offense(filling their meter to send tricks to players) and defense.
Every Sunday, the "Weekend Ritual" happens, allowing the boss to be played by a player. Normally, it's just AI-controlled.
@@ardayence wait if the boss can only go on defense mode when players are the zone, and if defense mode is the only way he clears the garbage, how did the garbage line at 11:52 or at 12:14 disappear? Im starting to get it a little more, thank you!

@@micah1234321 Line clears contribute to garbage clears in Defense mode. The reason why the boss was doing it so easily in this case is because of Maniac mode.

you can do like 150 lines even without that, connected pc would be like 200 lines smth

Yeah, but it can be mitigated if not all three players do it. If one person has an open well, it's not really going to matter all that much.

Can someone please explain how the pieces fall during the zone?
i'm not a tetris player, but from what i've seen, it makes clearing lines easier as the boards connect. without it there would be holes in the board.
@@weishes7516 not that, I know everything falls at the beginning, but sometimes the pieces they place will fall down to the bottom
@@loly8844 ohhh, they're magicminos that push all the blocks below them down, they fix holes that are created during zone
The purple minos will do that (idk if colors change)
@@loly8844 the purple piece to fix the misdrops is called cascade pieces. Cascase means you place a block that needs to be fixed it would fall down.
how do u revive faster?
Teammates clearing special line clears such as Tetrises or T-spins gives you a bonus, and you can also press any rotate button in time with the beat.
