I am 85. I have never liked breakfast! And how does this belief coincide with the new fasting diet of 8 hours of eating and 16 hours off? I also have never been able to nap! And if you work out of the home you can't very well nap on the job! Another misnomer for me is that I believe cleanliness is necessary to your health! Germs are everywhere and can be the reason you are sick! I believe keeping active, reading and problem solving crosswords and puzzles help your brain! Try to socialize and make yourself think by using your brain to figure things out! Watch your weight, eat healthy but still enjoy some sweets if you can! We are all different so therefore some of these ideas do not pertain to all! Hopefully I will continue to be brain healthy through my last years!
I give the vidéo 9 to 10, great advice. I am 75, l still work part time. I have a great VA pension and an alost as great military pension. I get SS and l live by mtself, with a small loving dog for company. I value my time spent alone. I,feel blessed. My health is good. I still go to school and socialize at work. Some of tbe advice is not accurate. Salt is a nevessary in the diet, so are other components. Not everything you state with such certainty is true for everyone
Stay away from vegetable oils it's used now in almost all Restaurants in there cooking, Because it is cheap like Canola oil . us virgin cold pressed coconut oil for frying ,salads virgin cold pressed Olive oil. Very healthy
I think this happens to people as inexplicable as to why covid killed some & never touched others ? I have 2 glasses of water beforemy coffe . I've had a glass of oatmeal for breakfast all my life . & one healthy meal a day at about 2 or 3 in the afternoon. I try to avoid sweets & flour. I'm just happy with the least amount of food . Am I so healthy because of this ? I think it helps , but who knows ? Over the years ppl said you are going to get sick eating one meal a day but now that we're all OLD they are sick & overweight, including my 7 YOUNGER sisters . U name it they have it ! . I forgot to mention I hate exercise . So being a contrarian and doing what I think is best for me & not following rules has DEFINITELY WORKED FOR ME .
Yes it depends what's in our DNA, and we're all different what is good fore one is not good fore another,yes keeping fit is good and eating healthy all so good,haveing fun,talking too family is good, orr looking up things staying off the phone is good all all so, but thy way things are going whith the goverment is not good and people not talking too one another is ,and in my family heart and cancer run in mine a lot off my family have died whith it,so people are haveing big familys I dont know,, people need too.learn a bout the body and ageing,
