Man that f6 sounded insane, the best sound i heard out of a barra turbo so far. The commodore was sick too, pretty impressive 0-100. Id imagine it would go harder on a prepped surface and the color was mint. The damn cop that passed by tho, its funny when everyone gets shy after a cop passes by even when you aren't doing anything wrong 😂

Can we get another review from a different LS owner that will actually show how much their rig pushes? Not sure if Mohammed was half asleep driving or doesn’t know how to control the power of his car. And props to that FPV owner, devs made the Barra community proud!

Not everyone is willing to thrash their cars in a crappy back road buddy. I got 6 stone chips that day and for me that's bad enough.
I reckon you need to focus a bit more on the cars and less on Mohamad... funny enough though...you analysed everything about Mohamad yet referred to Jake as the Ford's owner 😂.

Thanks for the fantastic review. Both cars look and drive amazing. Its apparent that both cars have immense power, and for them to put all that power down is very difficult.

I have a f6 bf in sillouete black to,but mines only 550 at the wheels,and I’ve spun the wheels at 140 as it came on boost,that f6 is crazy but the commodore had a lot more to give it’s just the fast peddle didn’t go down enough

What a great video. They both sound amazing. And of course I wouldn’t mind owning both, what a great combo that would be. The VE SS for the weekdays and the BF F6 for the weekends. I can dream.

I miss the BA XR6 N/A my brother used to own. He crashed it he is good driver and was very safe but shit happens. It was a silver XR6 BA Sedan witha insanely loud exhaust. Also had a zebra print head liner from previous owner. I hope i get to buy another one but with a manual this time

Missing out on Jake's monster ford and paid more attention to Mohamad, what he syas and how he drives 😂😂. At the end of the day Mohamad who doesn't know what he's driving or how to drive has a 1000hp car sleeping in his garage 😂.

Super-Charger and Turbo Charger is a Personal Choice. On Barra Engines there is no choice it comes Turbo Charge from Factory. There are Naturally Aspirated XR6 where the owner can get them Super-Charged over Turbo if they decide. For me it's a personal choice but other may disagree as they may be Super-Charger or Turbo Loyalist.
Both cars were machines !

It’s completely different the way they drive 😅 turbo power is more powerful but supercharged is so instant it’s hard to use
I 100% agree and I would drive it like a great grandpa if I have to not to lose my licence to prove a point or make you happy.
A police car was driving around literally minutes before and I'm on a 12 months good behaviour period.
Atleast Johno has the sense to respect how some owners treat their cars. I drive like a grandpa 90% of the time because i want my car to remain mint. As a youngster i flogged my rides everywhere and they turn into a bucket

Why would you bother driving any car that can go 220km/h but never go over 110km/h and that's only on specific highways or spend hundreds of thousands of dollars to buy a supercar that you can't drive over the speed limit 🤔
The fg is off it’s head wish the ve owner was more confident and had driven he’s car hard before this so wasn’t the best comparison 🤷🏽♂️but never the less still a great video
I know what you mean but I will never drive it hard in a back street...why should i considering that I'm on a 12 months good behaviour period . Last offence I was caught doing 140 in a 70 zone....trust me that's not confidence rather being dumb and stupid 😅.
Beside I think people care about the noise and how do drivers thrash their cars more than anything else.
Jake's ford is a monster no doubt and I got nothing but love and respect to my Buddy jake. However 0 to100 was 4.67 vs 4.81 running street tyres, traction control on and didn't even give it 70% throttle and that was only 2nd gear.
She's been to the track and so far didn't fail me yet so I can't complain even though it seems everyone else is 😂

I hope so...she had a few positive roll racing runs against aTurbo bara, a Twin turbo gtxr pushing just under 1000hp, Evo pushing 1100hp and a M3 competition just the day after the video.

@RossReviewsau if you ever come to Adelaide, FG F6 waiting here for you. Built motor 900hp etc, offset billet arms to fit wider tyres (just waiting for some forged replica rims in 19 x 10.5 inch) Shockworks coilovers all round, and Shockworks 380mm 6 Piston disk on the front and 4 piston 330 on the back.
Again both cars are so sick but the F6 takes the cake in my opinion in this one

She is 920hp but ya, I never needed to flat foot her, not even roll racing and honestly I wouldn't unless at the drag.
supercharged can't be driven the way turbocharged are.
Turbos lag and the bigger the turbo is the lagier she is hence that beast (the ford) has nos as part of the set-up. With supercharged no mocking around, power kicks in the moment you touch that puddle.

Supercharger everyday - its the car you can still drive around anywhere - big turbo big power cars are either on or off its fun but a handful and really not all usable power when the top end is really where it only has fun - great for the track but ill take a supercharger

I told you I'm on a good behaviour period, I won't risk it for a video or to get people's approval and I even told the boys I was thinking to let you drive the whole video not to risk it with the police, they literally showed up just before we started our run.
As far as the numbers, it's a 1000+hp vs 920hp but the video was advertised as 1000hp each 🫣
Anyway for some reason the video is not about the cars but continues to be about Mohamad 🤣
This was enough of a confirmation to me to say. Superchargers are not worth it. If you want aggressive power turbo is the way

Joe built the zf and Edgar has done some tuning hasn’t had a full tune yet
@@JakeKerr-j1o Joe is a good bloke, easy to talk to. He’s always building gearbox’s lately. saw him doing a mustang 10 speed recently.
Edgar also a top bloke. Easy to talk to, has some impressive GTRs with the Promod turbo and is now doing the Barras as well, that car is dialed in so good.

You certainly don’t modify and buy these cars for their street-ability or 0-100 times. Interesting exercises in engineering nonetheless.
0-100 isnt showing the true potential of either of them. 100-200 or rolling 60-160 is where it's at when you are pushing four digit power levels.
