I had a real problem with my bead locks after going from a 30" Tensor tire to a 32" tensor. In two weeks the tire pressure would go from 15LB to 0LB. So I went back to my MTB racing days and found a product called Tireject Sealant. In my mountain biking days I used a similar product in my tires. After taking the wheel off the UTV and removing the valve stem I add the Tireject Sealant. Put the valve stem back in pumped up the tire to 25LB and moved the tire around and up and down to get the sealant over to the bead lock area. Mounted the wheel back up and drove around the block. The next day aired down to 15LB and in one month I lost 1/2LB of air from the tire. Plus it will seal any punture 3/8" in size on you tire.
Great review ! Even though I watched your vid on cleaning the machine , I can’t get over how clean you’re able to keep it ! Looks brand new ! You should try removing the seat risers that are under the back half of the seat. They look to be close to two inches tall , and their removal may give you the extra room you’re looking for. Can’t believe it doesn’t have floor drains. I’ll probably make my own using something like a rod holder or through-hull for a boat. Would just have to figure a way to cap it off while riding. Only 3 more hours before I start my 11 hour drive from FL. to KY. to pick up my own XRC Turbo R ! Like I mentioned before , your videos have kept me occupied while waiting for my own X3 to get delivered , so Thank you ! And please keep the great content coming !

Polaris actually has a rear view camera and front facing camera for rock crawling, part of their Ride Command screen. They are very nice to use 👍🏽 and I honestly can't imagine driving a machine without DYNAMIX, I've been loving my turbo, corners and jumping are so much better, and the slow speed comfort for trail riding is untouchable, smoothest ride in the market right now. I just bought a Yxz about a month ago mostly because price and no belt but damn this is a great looking car. I think I will probably get one of these in the future man these are cool machines.
Daniel Matzendacher if you get an X3 you will not be disappointed. I love the yxz especially for the money it's a good machine. it's not quite as capable as an X3 but for the price you can get one for I think they're fun and very engaging to Drive👍

I got one of these brand new today. I let my brother in law drive it and he flipped it within 5 minutes. It only had 9 miles on it. I was freakin pissed.
I have learned my lesson on letting people use or ride my toys. They will break and not care. So from now on when I have something expensive and people want to use it or ride it, I tell them to go buy their own. No one will care for YOUR things.

Brandon, The seat is adjustable down/lower. This is a factory design...not a hack job...you only have to move the rear bolt spacer to above the seat rail mount (spacer and nut together..rail on bottom) and move the front bolt to the lower hole. I've already accomplished this adjustment on my 2018 X3. I'm pretty surprised you are not aware of this simple seat height adjustment/design. I hope this helps...

+paul bates I had to take off the front guards to use the plow they got in the way of the mounting bracket. I plan on putting them back on in the springtime.
hey branden if you look at the seat it does have a lower setting im big also and changed setting to the lower in my 2019 as soon as i got it spacer goes on top on the back bolts
Another You tube video shows how to install a tablet into the center top of the dash with a Can Am factory tablet bracket kit.You could run a camera for rock crawling and run into the tablet via Bluetooth .There are also many navigation apps that can be loaded into the tablet .Most of them have a built in gps antenna.The rear brake line should have been routed through the swing arms.The x3 looks like a real race car and not a reworked Yamaha Rhino.Some of the smaller cars have cvt transmissions that use a metal belt in oil.The rubber belt should go away .I can’t afford 1 but I got to drive them at a Bombardier test drive event.An amazing piece of equipment as built.The Donaldson air filters are standard equipment on a lot of heavy construction equipment .If you change that please do oil analysis before and after .

Hey Brandon I have the tablet adapter. It works well plus it gives you an extra glove box. I also installed a rear view camera since it's impossible to see behind you.
I have a new 2018 X3 900ho that is great on the Michigan trails. The one thing I don't like is the way the front tires fling mud straight up and into the cab. Which wheel well extenstions work best? The Can Am Fender flares appear to be on the small side.

Chris Kacin that's a good question I had to figure this out when I went to Baja Mexico for the 1000 the machine gets about 12 miles to gallon and you can get close to a hundred thirty miles to a tank

its interesting in your rock crawling video the first thing you said is that you cant see out of it and you had to get spotted on every little thing. thats not an issue for you? did you ever dig the front bumper in the dunes?
Tristan Hipps it is a little hard to place where the front tire is when you're rock crawling that was one of the first times I drove the machine. no the front end is awesome in the dunes that machine is a is amazing out there.

I know this is a late question for the Light it’s basically a Baja design one like size wise on the Baja Designs one do the mounts go on the outside or inside the cage and also since you use the mirror holes for the mounts of the lights can you still have the mirrors?
how does this unit do in the faster high speed and jumping scenarios. Is the suspension tuned for rock crawling or will it work on tracks and faster trails as well?
hey Brandon how are you bud? I need your opinion. I just sold my rzr 900s and I wanna buy maverick base model with 120hp with the 172 kit option. my options were pro xp or the x3. I know both machines are awesome but I don't want to regret afterwards. I live in Israel so my rides are trail's and rock climbing, the position seating in the x3 is really good. my question is when you were climbing it was hard for you to see because of the seating position? and in general to a guy how comes from rzr I will be satisfied? thanks
The new black and red XRS has the Smart Lock system so there's not too much of a difference between the XRS and the xrc. it's basically just the extra guards and the winch and the aluminum roof at that point. I'd be happy with both of them👍

Will the bars or the stock xrc roof interfere when installing the original windshield? Your opinion will be appreciated. Joel Cancel yeah man I have. what usually happens is there not tightened from the factory and people don't realize it. and then you end up breaking them. make sure when you get your new one that you check all your sway bar links😎👍
Brandon, I just came home from my 2nd ride in my RS and it is an AWESOME ride, but it is really squeaking and making noise with the slightest use of suspension. Have you experienced this? Forums talk about dry bushings and grommets that need some lubricant. Any feedback on this? Also, what tire pressure(s) are you using in the different terrains?
That's awesome I hope you enjoy your XRS. there's a few things that I would check. definitely Lube the mounting points from the shocks to the frame and the arms also make sure uou check your sway bar links I feel like all the new machines have loose sway bar links. I usually run 10 psi with the Maxxis Liberty tires the bighorns are going to have to be more careful and run higher pressure more like 15 to 18.😎👍
@@pmutah Thanks for the quick response! Appreciate your opinion on the tire PSI. I have carefully lubed all of the zerts and sprayed silicone on every bushing or pivot point I could find. Would you go so far as removing all pivoting mounting bolts and applying a thin layer of lithium grease on the inside before reconnecting? When I push down on the front bumper it squeaks like crazy which it didn't do prior to hitting it hard this weekend.
I checked all of my suspension and guess what...the driver's side sway bar was "flopping" loose, both connection points. Haven't driven it yet but I know this was making most of my racket. You were spot on, thanks!!
The 2020 Maverick I wonder if it's going to have the DCT transmission I'm trying to figure it out cuz I can get a good deal on a 18 right now and I'm wondering if I should just wait
I like them both. if you're getting an XRS just make sure it's the new one with the Smart Lock system. if you can afford the xrc it's a little more money but it comes pretty well equipped with a lot of nice accessories.👍
Hey Brandon, I have this xrc Turbo R in the thing has a governor on it do you have any idea what that's all about. I know all about the sport keys to sport mode and all that other stuff because I have another Can-Am XDS right now my XDS will kick ass on the xrc the xrc only goes 42 miles an hour I called BRP and they said you need to go faster than 45 I couldn't believe it this is a representative for BRP. I'm going with razor next time can't stand the idiots in this industry.
It acts like the learning key is all there is no Snappy acceleration I thought on this model maybe after 10 hours the ignition would reset. Called dealerships nobody knows. Thanks Brandon love you videos

After the wish list you made me think the machine is lagging in some way. These are offroad machines man not sport cars. I was so sold on this now im so less sold on it. i have polaris razor xp 4 1000 and love it. Was thinking of adding this but not so sure now. Tires lose air?? My tires do not lose air never ever have to fill them, ever. I know you will say you r being picky but for 25k it sounds like the car does not satisfy you even though you say it does. You r review seems to point in other direction. You say you wish the steering had better modes of input, wish tires held air, you wish you could see tires when rock crawling need cameras, you wish the seating position was better, wishing could remove the seats easier, wish you didn't blow a belt,......etc.. doesn't sound like a good machine. Just my opinion after listening to this review.
A couple things that I don’t like about these, which never gets mentioned in any video. All of the plastic body work is sharp as hell, you will cut yourself on this stuff. They really need to finish the edges on the plastic way better. Another thing that is really stupid and shouldn’t be an issue but is, the shifter almost touches the center console, to the point where it can grab your fingers and even pinch them if your not paying attention. This is an engineering issue and should have been fixed in the design phase. Yes the machine is very capable, but the fit and finish is just terrible. If you never have to touch or drive one, it’s looks great, but if you own one you really have to pay attention to certain things to keep from actually hurting yourself. It’s one thing to get hurt playing with these machines, but it’s a whole nother to get cut and pinched just trying to drive and maintain it.

I just installed the Rokbloks last night to include the V3 trailing arm flaps. It looks sick. Can't wait to get out again!

I am pretty sure you can lower the seat. You just move it to the lower holes. Thank for the video.

the seats do go lower there are holes in the front of the seat so that you could drop the front mount 2 inches lower!!!!

I know this is a late question for the Light it’s basically a Baja design one like size wise on the Baja Designs one do the mounts go on the outside or inside the cage and also since you use the mirror holes for the mounts of the lights can you still have the mirrors?
is there something close to the sandrails? i like this machine but i dont think the power is crazy enough for the dunes..

I just sold my rzr 900s and I wanna buy maverick base model with 120hp with the 172 kit option.
my options were pro xp or the x3.
I know both machines are awesome but I don't want to regret afterwards.
I live in Israel so my rides are trail's and rock climbing,
the position seating in the x3 is really good.
my question is when you were climbing it was hard for you to see because of the seating position?
and in general to a guy how comes from rzr I will be satisfied?

Nice review! So in your opinion what machine is more bang for your buck the new ‘18 xrs or the ‘18xrc? Is there that big of a difference?
The new black and red XRS has the Smart Lock system so there's not too much of a difference between the XRS and the xrc. it's basically just the extra guards and the winch and the aluminum roof at that point. I'd be happy with both of them👍

Waleed yes those are the mounts that I have in my machine so if you want it mounted in the same position that I have mine they will work

Hi Brandon. Would you please clarify if the intrusion bars are removable? Have you considered installing can am windshield with wiper? Will the bars or the stock xrc roof interfere when installing the original windshield? Your opinion will be appreciated. I ordered this model and I decided I want to install the windshield with wiper and upper door panels in case I run into mud at some point...
You can remove the intrusion bars and if you're doing a full windshield with a wiper you do need to change the roof also😎👍

Joel Cancel yeah man I have. what usually happens is there not tightened from the factory and people don't realize it. and then you end up breaking them. make sure when you get your new one that you check all your sway bar links😎👍

Brandon, I just came home from my 2nd ride in my RS and it is an AWESOME ride, but it is really squeaking and making noise with the slightest use of suspension. Have you experienced this? Forums talk about dry bushings and grommets that need some lubricant. Any feedback on this? Also, what tire pressure(s) are you using in the different terrains?
That's awesome I hope you enjoy your XRS. there's a few things that I would check. definitely Lube the mounting points from the shocks to the frame and the arms also make sure uou check your sway bar links I feel like all the new machines have loose sway bar links. I usually run 10 psi with the Maxxis Liberty tires the bighorns are going to have to be more careful and run higher pressure more like 15 to 18.😎👍
@@pmutah Thanks for the quick response! Appreciate your opinion on the tire PSI. I have carefully lubed all of the zerts and sprayed silicone on every bushing or pivot point I could find. Would you go so far as removing all pivoting mounting bolts and applying a thin layer of lithium grease on the inside before reconnecting? When I push down on the front bumper it squeaks like crazy which it didn't do prior to hitting it hard this weekend.
I checked all of my suspension and guess what...the driver's side sway bar was "flopping" loose, both connection points. Haven't driven it yet but I know this was making most of my racket. You were spot on, thanks!!

I like them both. if you're getting an XRS just make sure it's the new one with the Smart Lock system. if you can afford the xrc it's a little more money but it comes pretty well equipped with a lot of nice accessories.👍

Hey Brandon, I have this xrc Turbo R in the thing has a governor on it do you have any idea what that's all about. I know all about the sport keys to sport mode and all that other stuff because I have another Can-Am XDS right now my XDS will kick ass on the xrc the xrc only goes 42 miles an hour I called BRP and they said you need to go faster than 45 I couldn't believe it this is a representative for BRP. I'm going with razor next time can't stand the idiots in this industry.

It acts like the learning key is all there is no Snappy acceleration I thought on this model maybe after 10 hours the ignition would reset. Called dealerships nobody knows. Thanks Brandon love you videos

After the wish list you made me think the machine is lagging in some way. These are offroad machines man not sport cars. I was so sold on this now im so less sold on it. i have polaris razor xp 4 1000 and love it. Was thinking of adding this but not so sure now. Tires lose air?? My tires do not lose air never ever have to fill them, ever. I know you will say you r being picky but for 25k it sounds like the car does not satisfy you even though you say it does. You r review seems to point in other direction. You say you wish the steering had better modes of input, wish tires held air, you wish you could see tires when rock crawling need cameras, you wish the seating position was better, wishing could remove the seats easier, wish you didn't blow a belt,......etc.. doesn't sound like a good machine. Just my opinion after listening to this review.

A couple things that I don’t like about these, which never gets mentioned in any video. All of the plastic body work is sharp as hell, you will cut yourself on this stuff. They really need to finish the edges on the plastic way better. Another thing that is really stupid and shouldn’t be an issue but is, the shifter almost touches the center console, to the point where it can grab your fingers and even pinch them if your not paying attention. This is an engineering issue and should have been fixed in the design phase.
Yes the machine is very capable, but the fit and finish is just terrible. If you never have to touch or drive one, it’s looks great, but if you own one you really have to pay attention to certain things to keep from actually hurting yourself. It’s one thing to get hurt playing with these machines, but it’s a whole nother to get cut and pinched just trying to drive and maintain it.
