Bruh, i don't even drive to Davis Island if it's been raining for more than 20 minutes because one time i almost got stuck there in over a foot of water. How do you live there for 60 years and not evacuate during a huge storm surge like that?
Just imagine if 40 years ago, most of the southeast had abandoned their confederate roots and voted for liberal environmental change. At least the next generation would have a fighting chance.
