I love Dave Grohl. That SNL episode where he filled in with Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers was the best. They did this very same song, and a much younger Dave slayed it on the drums.
As I understand it, Grohl credits his time with The Hearbreakers as rekindling his live of music after Cobain's death. I also remember reading he was offered the chance to become the drummer full time but chose to look pursue a different project which became the Foo Fighters.

It’s good but i have to disagree. To me this is much better and is just fire from start to finish. The ladies and Steve sound great and it’s a great cover but this is better.
They wrecked the song.. omg.. The only guy doing something right here is the second guitarist, actually having som Mike C vibrato in his playing.. I am sry, but to have TP and the Heartbreakers with Foo Fighters sound dosent make it for me. Sounds awfull..
