    This is how I would want to remember Mr Hawkins - constantly looking over his own shoulder at one of the greatest lead guitar players of all time, at one of the greatest bass players of all time, and at his own band mate, one of the greatest drummers of all time, then facing the audience and perhaps not realizing his own greatness. RIP Mr Hawkins.

You've got one of the greatest guitar players of all time, one of the greatest bass players of all time, and TWO of the greatest drummers of all time. I don't think either of them could be called 'one of the greatest drummers of all time'. Although Led Zeppelin had easily one of the best guitarists of all time, easily one of the best vocalists of all time, easily one of the best drummers of all time, and easily one of the best rock musicians in general (as well as bassists) of all time.

    • @jasonbroom7147
      @jasonbroom7147 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@danielstephens7416 - My comment was "top-10 at their craft". Please list 10 drummers with a better catalog of work than Grohl. "Best" is always going to be highly subjective. One could easily make the case that not one rock drummer is top-10, including Bonham, if you hold jazz drummers in high esteem. My comments were really about rock and roll artists, which I thought was implied.

    I love how much Dave still looks like an excited kid when he’s opening up the song! Who can blame him! Not many people have been able to play drums with legends

    Are...you...kidding...ME?! The greatest rendition of Zep's R&R that I have ever heard. Gonzo drums, Shred Guitars, Paleolithic vocals. My oh my. Should anybody ever attempt this tune again?!?

      This cover blows any other cover away. Man, they were all stellar, Page and Jones had a blast from the looks of it too.

    Just a small kid from Texas, and a HUGE EVERYTHING inside of an always tiny humble little self. What a loss. Seeing him here among those beasts makes him even greater than I think he never even fathomed he was. Look at him looking around all the time. RIP

      I read somewhere that Taylor had extreme stage fright every time he knew he had to get up and perform. If that was true then it’s even more sad seeing him looking around maybe anxious and unsure of himself performing in front of a huge crowd like this with Page and Jones behind you while you perform their song. He was too good for this world.

    The sheer delight in Grohl's face on playing with legends. And, as for Taylor, great performance, RIP mate

      Those first 10 seconds or so... He just looks almost uncontrollably happy!! It's almost as if his face wants to smile more, but it physically can't!!

    A true example of unity in diversity...the musicians,the vocalists ,all from different bands and yet creating mesmerising music. Music defines unity and creativity. Thank you

    John Paul Jones is amazing, he's just in the park feeding the pigeons, while all the city noises enter his mind and come out clean without any visual or spatial pollution. Just taking a walk in the park with all the notes and sounds under his control
