He sounded like he wanted to cry when he said he was going to 3-3 because of personnel

Blitz the mike to the b gap, he becomes the 3 tech and play man free behind it. New Mexico used to do that with ulracher.

Good stuff coach. How often would you utilize this? Do you have this in mind as a wrinkle or to be used every time you send pressure (4 man). I did notice that vs 20 personnel if they flared both backs and ran some sort of Qb draw, you might be in somewhat of a pickle since your LB's would vacate the box chasing backs. That prompted me to ask how often would you use it. Like anything, tendencies lead to exposure of weaknesses. Not trying to be the last guy with the marker. It just jumped out at me. Thanks coach.

Love your videos. This video reminded me of a question I been wanting to ask you. I have a friend who is a former QB and he was talking football to me. We were talking about the BCS championship where he said that if he were the coach (Georgia Coach) he would use an 8 man box and 2 deep to beat Alabama. l was wondering if you what he meant by that--play 8 man in the box with 2 deep. I don't want to presume he means to play 2-read, or play cover 2 with your ninth player playing a key or possibly a robber type assignment and that's not what he meant--any ideas?

I watched an earlier video of yours called "3 Stack Split Field Coverages" that answers my question.

Hard to run an 8 man box AND 2 deep with todays offenses. JMO. I am an OC here in Texas and if someone gives me that look I am thanking God for all his blessings.

    Hey coach,
I run a 335 stack and 335 hybrid look (similar to 3-4, 3-2, etc - basically I’ll move my LBs in that.
That being said, your down safeties in a 335, what do you have them key on the snap? Let’s say in a twins or doubles set. In a run heavy league
Will typically play a cover 3 palms coverage. Corners and free deep, down safeties reading 2 vertical - but I want them to have some run presence as force players

EMOL more often than not. Occasionally vs 1 Back shotgun teams we will key the back and his mesh point entry
