Guards are the easiest read, for accuracy and teaching time. There are 'better' reads, but they take more time to teach. You can read backfield with your linebackers in a 2-high safety Quarters coverage, where the back side safety can stay home to cover cutbacks and misreads by the linebackers. Backfield is a faster read, but not as accurate.

Hey Coach - do you always read guards versus backfield flow. RPO systems are giving a lot of junk reads and trying to figure out best scenarios.
