If anyone is interested This house, which was previously owned by Bruce Forsyth’s widow, Wilnelia, was sold for £5.7 million in 2020. Since then, the property has been left empty, with neighbors claiming that the main gates have remained closed and moss and weeds have grown over the tennis court and surrounding lawns. The house, which features a ten-seater cinema room, ten reception rooms, bedrooms, library, gymnasium, swimming pool, spa area, and wine cellar, was once a beloved home for Forsyth and his family. However, it appears that the property has been left to decay, a far cry from the days when Forsyth would be enjoying his favorite pastime of tennis. It’s worth noting that Forsyth’s estate was left to his widow, Wilnelia, which allowed her to take the assets tax-free due to spousal exemption.
I just googled and found the same.. apparently sold to a bermuda based business woman.. Id be heartbroken if I sold my family home and it ended up like this 😢
Hey guys always look forwards to your videos, thank you for the information. I presumed that the owner must have passed away judging by the scale of it. Probably sold to the bank and is on the market. Just too sad. Keep up the good work, be safe, and keep them coming.❤😁👍😘
Really enjoyed it. Not a problem you couldn’t get inside as know you are so respectful about not forcing entry. Fingers crossed by next premiere that you are up to the very well deserved magic 1000 x
What a fabulous place. Look at those Rhododendrons. Absolutely fabulous. What a place. Would love to see inside. Fancy leaving such a wonderful home. I would love it. Thank you Vacant Haven. Love you all. Sue from Hampshire. Xx
Beautiful place , I was gob smacked by the flowering trees and shrubs and flowers I had never seen before . That Japanese tree by the pond was a stunner . On a lighter note , It was a shame the place was so secure however just a look around the outside and the few buildings made for a great explore Thank you Lads for a perfect Sunday evening , God Bless you all , You are the very best . Salutations from across the pond , Stuart in Canada..
I look forward to these every week. All the antiques, antics, and excuses Ed makes....lol And how could I forget all the stomach noises Ed makes... hilarious
Incredible find! I would love to spend my day in that garden. Absolute waste, you're right. Love that practically the only open door was the security office, ha ha ha
Proper crazy leaving a massive place as nice as that abandoned golf course you could play on any time you want (but I can't play at all) tennis as well and it's own tree house be a good place to chill and have a laugh the place must be worth millions but makes you think way happened to the old owners of the place and why it's just sat empty for years
This video is amazing. Such beautiful grounds and rhododendrons everywhere. You guys get to some awesome places. I really enjoyed this. You guys are a great team.
Beautiful! Wish you could have got in. At least ya got ta see the tree house, and Eddy didn't bump his head this time. I was surprised Ed didn't make it out first. Thanks for the walk around, that place had so, so much!
What an amazing place - would love to have seen inside when it was inhabited. I hope it won’t be demolished - it all looks in perfectly good condition apart from the decking around the treehouse!! Those beautiful rhododendrons - really fabulous gardens. Another great explore Alex, Ned and Edd 👍👍👍
Eddy needs to be careful making that call, it's the mating call of the Muntjac Deer, he might get more than he bargained for.😂 The grounds on that place are huge, you would need a permanent staff of gardeners just to maintain it, built on original heathland by the look of it. It has the look of a hotel or health spa.
Whenever I see an abandoned house, I get a bit sad and always wondering " Where are the people of the house? Where's everybody gone? No one cares anymore about the property left to rot? Unfortunately, NOTHING LASTS FOREVER!
Just missed the premiere! At least I get to watch it now! Too bad you couldn't get in the main house. Good experience anyway, definitely put a lot of money in the whole of the development. So sad it's just going to rot.
Amazing property, and walk through the woods to get there. No neighbours, no noise, just birds, nature and the occasional deer, while still being close to civilization.
Wow what a place shame you couldn’t get inside but I enjoyed just looking around the grounds amazing, if you had have got in you could have got caught so a blessing in disguise safety first I was a little worried you left Ed behind but at least you got out safe but another great video guys and I will see you all in the next one stay safe ❤😊
When you came across that mirror, it was so freaking weird. But when you went around the back and it wasn't a building, that was very strange. I think that entire facade was for photography or something to do with filming. Just a thought. Thank you so much for this fantastic video. Alex, Eddy, and Ned, your great. *loved the tree house. ❤❤❤
Very worth watching for the beautiful grounds and gardens. I'd love to know who once lived there. Thank you Alex, Ed and Ned, for a great video. 💖💖💖💖💖💖🍺🍺🍺🍕🍕🍕
This place and gardens are stunning or would have been, gutted no entry but you guys entertained again, reminds me of home el chapo would have lived in. Hope you guys all Check for tics wandering through all that grass! Thankyou for another fab find 😊
Absolutely beautiful place it's not always about the inside the outside was well worth it what a perfect time to go when all the flowers are in bloom. 💐
Enjoyed that one guy's I'm sorry you couldn't get inside it looks amazing outside hopefully next week you get inside the next building take care guy's can't wait till next week 🤘🤟🤙
What an absolutely massive place! Must agree that the tree house was amazing and the kids would have loved it. It is a pity that you couldn't get in and have a look around as I'm sure it would have been full of interesting stuff. And once again you had to leg it when security turned up, at least you didn't leave Ed behind.
That was awesome! Thank you for the trouble of all the walking and not being able to get in. But the property was stunning with in itself. Such a shame that this will eventually rot away!
I very much enjoyed this week's episode (enjoy all of them truth be told). Lovely garden. Did you have any luck in finding out who built the place? What's to become of it?
It's so beautiful. I would love to live there just for the grounds alone. It's so gorgeous. This is in the top 5 of my favorites that you've explored and with not even seeing the inside.
That place was awesome… the grounds alone were beautiful. Those were some lucky people who ever lived there… and now it’s just left abandoned. Such a shame. ⚜️
Most definitely in my top 5 of the places you've visited. Mostly for it's nature surroundings, the overgrown foliage and those massive bushes with the multicoloured blooms...amazing! The sheer size of mansion. I can just imagine it in it's hay day with all the water features in full flow. This video had me from the get go with the treehouse...too cool! Thanks once again boys. 👍
Love your videos but remember to leave it as you found it and close all the doors. That treehouse is now exposed to the British weather. Great vid though. Keep them coming 👍🏿

I'm convinced that the ultra wealthy buy these properties just to prevent others from doing so.

I can't imagine that the house would be very interesting.
I can't imagine that the house would be very interesting.
What a fantastic place. Shame you couldn't get in but was great video anyway. Thanks Alex, Ed and Ned ❤
It should be illegal to just abandon such a beautiful property, imagine all the work and resources that went into it and just left to rot?
Most likely finances or legal/ownership issues drove them out
Beautiful place, beautiful gardens and all them rhododendrons all colours how beautiful you guys always find the great places 😊
Really enjoyed it. Not a problem you couldn’t get inside as know you are so respectful about not forcing entry. Fingers crossed by next premiere that you are up to the very well deserved magic 1000 x
Hi guys :) the bit with the mirror is called a ' folly' sorry if someone already said that < 3
Almost at the 100k guys. Keep up the good work! Brilliant video! No matter couldn’t get in. Was worth it for the playhouse alone and the pirate ship!
@nannyofmany8315 nearly there Nanny!
Sorry for the late reply!
Fascinating. Those rhododendrons were magnificent. The colors. So much money was invested in that place. I hate to think of it being demolished.
Our BBC licence fee, or those daft enough to still pay it.

Rhododendrons, they look nice but are a menace for the environment, very invasive.
They are toxic to cat's,dogs & most animals 😢

Wow. Incredible. That's a real Robin Leach mansion. Lifestyles of the rich and famous. 5 stars.

Those blooming bushes with the pink flowers 🌺 are do pretty. Its so green and pretty there. Pretty and beautiful place shame its abandoned. 😮
What a real shame to abandon such a large property. I cannot imagine how much it cost to maintain and run the place. Enormous!
