great video. Another thing I do at least once a week is clear cache and reboot my modem/router and firestick by unplugging it from the power. This works wonders as well as doing the steps you mentioned.

Hi CC, i had 4 apps open im always on top of clearing my caches' and closing apps, restarting my firestick and topping it off at the end with putting my firestick to sleep. Learned all that from the best The handsome Mr. CC😀

Good overlap between the stick and the Toshiba TV I have been having problems with. I only had 11 apps open, but I will come back if that wasn't the issue! 😁

While I have purchased a wi fi extender,I have not been successful in installing it. My download speeds are around 100 and I still encounter buffering and freezing.. I appreciate all of your help.

I had 18 tabs running in the background, you were very helpful because I use Cinema & the buffering drives me crazy 🤪 not to mention they uploaded movies and television shows to titles that don't belong on it, like I was looking for the Spider-Man movie & they had every movie on there except Spider-Man just stupid.... Will this process I just did stop it from doing that???
Just a couple of things ???, I find it interesting that you use a wifi extender, and not a mesh system for more coverage, even if it was only a couple of mesh points like amplifi sells ??? And, oddly, when I’m streaming, I find using I get a lot less buffering using an upstream, rather than many downloads, which seem to buffer, even if I’m in the next room to the router ??, and sipped, my speed always shows up in the high 100’s, to the 200 range, with VPN, on, and almost 400 without VPN, and yes, shutting down background apps helps. Very good video, I’ll, be sure to tell my brother to watch, when I send him my extra first stick.
Lol, we use a rock space mesh system now. We can get access to our basement and separate garage with a booster as well by the same company which extends the range from 4000sq ft to over 20,000. Thanks for the comments. Hopefully this gives guy some guidance on our situation and no more confusion. We’ve done videos on both.

Cinema is not actually down. Just some of the streams. You can fix it with the latest install version (not update). Also there are many alternatives. We have them all posted on patreon if you want to see them. Enjoy

So glad you are here for us beginners. When I have issues with my firestick no one else exists but you.
Had 41 apps running in the background. Had 349 mbps download and was buffering until the apps were forced closes. THANK YOU -system no longer buffers.

Finally fixed mine by switching internet companies and getting a new amazon fire stick. Mine was 3 yrs old. I did like the tips, though.
I thought it was my internet but that’ wasn’t the issue. The speed test worked great thanks for sharing this
