My dad is having streaming issues with a new service... thought it may be the service servers, but I subscribed to the same service at my house and it is all GOOD. So it is not the service but possibly his router or some interference. he has the newest firesticks. THIS is GREAT info !! I just purchased a new router and will perform these suggestions. THANK YOU
It's also useful to unplug your equipment (modem & router) every week or two. The more your internet is used, the more often it should be unplugged, which clears the cache in the equipment.

If overheating is still an issue, remove plastic cover (after using small knife or flat screwdriver tip to pry open both sides) and either drill small vent holes in plastic cover or operate Firestick with cover removed. Note: drilling holes in cover may void warrantee if you need to return Firestick to Amazon.
One thing apon what the video was saying. One thing also that helps with all media style devices android boxes. Is that memory is always limited. And pre-installed apps. Not being used. To disabled if it can not uninstall. Helps alot aswell.

I did not know that certain things I watch could slow my firestick. I thank you. was a great help. Even though I got a fire broken stick. I didn't know about the memory thing. BTW. I watch older tv scifi shows. I watch them because the newer shows may be fancy but don't have the morality. Just entertainment.
