5800x. RTX 3080. Hardware accelerate GPU scheduling and Game mode. Should i have these on ? i feel like they create microstutter but this may be placebo
One thing that I would heavily recommand is to set a max frame rate for your GPU to avoid what happened with Amazon’s New World game that briked a number of GPUs few years ago. The New World beta in question did not implement a frame rate limiter in the game menu system, which caused a GPU to suddenly go from an in-game frame rate of 100 fps to roaring along at 800 fps. By setting a max frame rate in the NVidia control panel, which can be anything above your monitor max frame rate will serve as a form of "surge protector" for any unoptimized game that would cause your GPU to go crazy
@@mattburg94 Yes it was an isolated incident but still cost lives to several GPUs. Ever since, all PC tech youtubers have recommended it. We never know when then might happen again, better safe then sorry. Furthermore, it's not like you're losing a lot by limiting your frame rate slightly above your monitor's max one and some test even indicate you should do so as it improves system stability. At the end you do whatever you want with your HW man, at least you were made aware of it 👍🏾
@@glardimywhy would you set it above your refresh rate? wouldn’t that introduce screen tearing or ghosting? i always thought you should cap it a couple frames below your refresh rate….i cap mine at 141

Hello one question? Do you know why when I configure my graphic parameters in the game, when I close and log back in they change no matter how much I apply?
What’s up FourEyes, can you tell me why MW3 resets my settings every single boot up even when it prompts me to NOT run in safe mode? It seems like it automatically runs safe mode. I then have to proceed to change all my settings. Super frustrating.
Can I get some help or suggestions when I play mw3 or warzone my pc screen randomly goes black and crashes and the only fix is to restart my pc my drivers are up to date and my windows are updated I have the 4070 TI I have no clue how to fix it thanks
Go to your windows search bar and type "CMD" and run it as administrator, once in there copy and paste whats in the () and you will get ultimate power config (powercfg -duplicatescheme e9a42b02-d5df-448d-aa00-03f14749eb61)
For me for Power Management Mode I don't have a "normal" setting it is either, Optimal Power, Adaptive, or Prefer Maximum Performance, which of those should I go with?
ive tried been using all of these settings working well, and i got a new monitor but now im having screen tearing issues , what do you think it would be??
@FourEyesGames Hi. Good videos you make! Thx a lot!!! But, please make a video about Mous settings. Mouse settings in the Software of the mouse, the Windows Software and in the ingame settings. For example, i got a setting long ago, when i took a look thru my optical to spot an enemy far away and he runs around, i could follow him because as long as i looked thru the optical, the movement für me was smooth and slow. I hope you understand what i mean. And when i stopped spotting him and took a look around normal, my movement was fast, since i took again a look thru the optical. I forgot this settings... Maybe you can find it out again... Regards from germany
Nice video. I'll tell you my experience. I have an alienware m18, rtx 4080 and i9. well, I do a lot of fps in game, but I have to lock the fps to 120 otherwise it becomes unplayable, full of very annoying stuttering. looking at the frametime graph I realize that at 130, 140 or 180 fps it is full of stuttering. It seems absurd to me with hardware like this to only play at 120 fps
In the MW3 in game graphics settings menu, try setting the vram memory scale to the lowest setting, which I believe is 50. I have a 3080 and was having issues with stutters and this eliminated them for me. It seems counterintuitive to turn the scale all the way down, but just give it a shot. If it doesn’t do anything turn it back to whatever you have it at now. I assume max?
@@xBenefitx it's all surreal. I mostly solved it by removing the stutter in the frametime (now it's cleaner and more linear) by setting the graphics settings to ultra, limiting the fps to 120. so in the benchmark I see that the bottleneck is 4% cpu and 96% gpu. if I were to put everything on low the stutter returns and the benchmark shows a bottleneck of 65% cpu, 35% gpu.
Hey four eyes, i have a issue in MWZ and was wondering if you had any ideas on how to fix this. I've seen some other people mention this but for some reason on PC there is a horrible FPS problem I've noticed in zombies. anytime you look in the centre of the map or multiple places in the city, the FPS just starts dipping, I go from about 150 - 200 all the way down to about 90-100 until I look away from the area causing the drop. Also when I'm near a mystery box that is being used by me or anyone else, the FPS tanks even harder to about 70-80 fps until I look away or the box is done with its animation. My friend doesn't have this issue and he is also on PC, our settings in game are identical. the only difference is that he plays on steam and I am on battle net. I'm enjoying the zombies but this is disrupting the experience because its so noticeable and I'm forced not to look at certain areas so I don't have to deal with the drops. does anyone have any idea of what could be the cause or what I can do to fix, maybe it can also help others having the same issue. please and thank you. I have done your previous optimisations but the issues still happens, I'm not sure if its a pc setting or just the game itself but its ruining the experience so much. im running a ROG Strix 3090 OC with a 12700K.
i have the same issue but i’m on steam…i’ve been trying to optimize my pc to fix it and i think it’s a cpu problem i noticed that when im in tier 3 zone i drop to like 80 fps and my cpu time spikes up…i have a similar setup to you i have a rog strix 3090 and a i9 10900k i honestly think its just the optimization of the game and zombies so much is going on….i just hope its not the same for warzone i’ve never had any issues with past cods
