- Had a totally solo day in the city last weekend and decided to explore the city & enjoy my solo summer saturday by myself!!! I think there's such beauty in learning how to love your alone time & I want to work on finding confidence in doing so!!!! So I walked all around the city, grabbed a matcha, walked through an art fair, read in the park, did some sketching, ordered in food... I mean, it was a perfect day!

I am soooo guilty of not doing things when I don't have someone to do them with... but as I get older I'm trying to find the confidence to do things alone and today was the perfect day!! I plan to keep trying new things on my own, pushing myself to grow & become the best version of myself!!!! highly recommend you join me on this journey 🩷🩷🩷

I call those "Me Days" and I love them. I love the solitude and I seem to notice more around me when I'm not having a conversation with someone else. I hope you do more Tara Days!

This vlog truly made me feel better about not being the only one who gets anxious going anywhere alone. It’s crazy how we have that mindset and I’m in therapy for it now learning how to do things by myself and knowing that it is okay and healthy. I’m actually in the process of planning my first ever solo trip & I’m pretty excited for it!

Toronto definitely can be an incredible city. I partially grew up there and my dad grew up there. Many beautiful spots but always be careful. Toronto unfortunately is not what it used to be while I was growing up. I hope you get to visit some day. :)
I love how independent and positive you are. It makes me feel more optimistic to going out by myself and enjoying time with myself. I’ve been watching you for years and I’d love to meet you someday. I am definitely an intro extrovert. I struggle being an extrovert at times
I'm at the extreme end of the introversion spectrum, according to Myers Briggs, which is why i love going out alone. If I don't have to talk to anyone, I'm happy 😂

I love walking around the city. Especially Toronto. Whenever I travel down there with my sister (i live in Mississauga) I love walking around and finding new places to eat/shop near 🥰 And your right about the TTC. Great way to travel EXCEPT when their under construction or the lines are blocked (which was most of the summer lol)

What a lovely vlog 😍 I visited Toronto in 2017 and I absolutely loved it. Can't wait to revisit one day! I've also always been someone who doesn't like doing things on my own, but in the recent years I've gotten more comfortable in doing that. It's so freeing to realize that you don't always need someone to do certain things with you when you can also just do it by yourself.

I used to travel to Toronto monthly for work and wanted to move there fall 2020… obvi border shut down and couldn’t make it happen. I miss it so much! I haven’t been in a few years now, thanks for virtually bringing me back, it truly warms my heart

I used to work at Yonge and St Clair; my go to lunch spots were Passione, Delica and this amazing mom & pop Thai hot table by the Sobeys (now farm boy). The area has changed so much! Pretty sure none of those spots exist anymore 😅

I always do solo activities, I really enjoy myself. That is healthy, cause it means you don’t depend on others to enjoy life. Obviously, we enjoy time with friends and family but solo activities are great!
