- A short sequence I put together using the 80D on a bright sunny day at the park. Really surprised with the dynamic range this DSLR can pull off given its price range. With 60fps for slow-motion and a flat picture profile installed, I would say the Canon 80D isn't too bad for being an inexpensive camera.
This was shot 100% handheld in Manual Focus, and I've used warp stabiliser on 2-3 clips at most.

Set to 24 FPS, picture profile to neutral, shutter speed to 50 and then add some cinema bars in post and little color correction, then ur good to go...u I’ll get cinematic look.

This is great. I'm using an 80d currently... but wow its truly amazing the difference between the 80d and higher end cameras. These shots you took would look like an actual movie if taken on a 1DX
That's true, don't forget lenses are really important too! And for this video, I haven't used any specific sharp glass to be frank.

Thank you! I've installed a Canon Cinestyle flat picture profile on my 80D. You can do this very simply by searching on the web or youtube "how to install canon cinestyle".

I´m sorry, but was this actually shot in 1080p? Cause to me it doesn´t look sharp at all. I know 1080p isn´t 4K, but it´s better than what I see here. Are you sure you didn´t export or record this in 720p?

Julian very good question. As you may already know, shooting with good glass is even more important than resolution. This was shot with cheap canon lenses. Yes, shot and exported at 1080p. Please have a watch at my most recent test to see the difference a good lens can make in quality! Thank you for watching

Thank you. This is a bit old now, my recent work is a lot better :) This has yellow pushed into the highlights and blue in the shadows. I also played with the hue of blues and oranges to get that feel

Good question! None. It's all handheld shot. I simply used a bit of warp stabilizer in Premiere Pro and slowed the footage down which helps!

I couldn't tell you buddy, technology has improved so much lately, you're better off getting something else for the price tag of an 80D I believe. Do your research.
