Yay! Dread Empire! I plan on getting back to the Dandelion Dynasty in the near future. I really want to read the Drizzt novels. I think I own the omnibus. I need to check. I think I loaned out my copy and I never got it back(I don't loan out books anymore 😅). This is a great list and most of it is new to me!
Dread Empire couldn't not make the list this year. I'm looking forward to what you think about the Dandelion Dynasty when you're done, its such a unique epic fantasy series! Drizzt is definitely worth getting to, I expected a fun popcorn ride and was shocked by how much heart it had. I suspect you'll have a good time with it also given your taste for older fantasy. For my part I have the three other 25th Anniversary omnibus that with this one cover the first 12 books, so I'll be reading at least those. Glad you were able to find some new stuff! I'm probably not helping out your TBR at all at this point, ha.
Awesome list, my friend! I have lies of ajungo too and haven't checked it out yet. Glad to know you liked it, it's sounds so interesting! There are a bunch on here I haven't read, love it!!!
Moses Utomi and i exchanged books at a convention a couple years ago! Right before "Lies" came out, I just got around to reading it and it was fascinating! loved it, and i'm super super excited to read part 2
i wanna read that Count Brass book because that cover character looks cool af, but chatgpt tells me i have to read 4 other books or i'll be lost **cries in slow reader/too busy**
Lmao, yea, you'd have to read the History of the Runestaff quartet first, but these are from back in the day when fantasy books were ~200 pages, so the entire quartet's about the size of the average fantasy book these days. It was also pretty great, Moorcock had things to say about Britain, lol.
Always cool to find something here I don't see on other channels 👍
Thanks, I'm happy to shake up the Booktube Fantasy Canon a bit!

Right with you on Verus!! 💪
I was a bit more mixed on Dandelion but still so creative and entertaining.
Can’t wait to try Islington, Carey, and Cook!!

Great video, That’s a crazy story about glen cook book getting stolen 😢
I’ll have to keep my eye out for the lies of ajungo
I saw it available on BookOutlet recently for like CDN$5. If you're buying anything from there soon you might be able to grab it.
