      You should, for now we can feel like we can hide but in the future we will know for sure that we cannot hide not by land nor by sea and it is true. There is only someone that can protect and guide us in our life. The normal I guess that we knew is no more but life is so worth living and we have life through someone. A channel I can recommend is Living Waters.
      Also here's another video about archaic Virtual Reality.

      the issue is that they have a "thing" for every generation. and most of the people of every generation are falling for that "thing" instead of trying to find the real purpose of why we are here.
      it is easy to pick on the next generation and pin point what will doom them/their times but we kinda forget that we also have our own things that doomed our generation/the generations of the ones before us.
      Couple of examples be it Alcohol, music , partying, drugs, gaming, pornography, movies, TV's, smartphones etc. (if you think about it even older phones are just steps to get towards the meta verse... you don't have to leave your house and actually meet the person /knock on their door and check on them in real life... you could just hit a number and he/she will answer and its all virtual/unreal life.)
      we need to figure out why we are here. how did we get here and what is our purpose.

      Idea of the metaverse comes from Snowcrash, which was a novel published in 1992, which was the first literary mention of a metaverse, and the first use of the word avatar in a novel to describe a character in virtual reality. The Metaverse in Snowcrash was created by a single corporation, and was built on top of network infrastructure built by the same corporation. Snowcrash was inspired by earlier cyberpunk fiction, such was that written by William Gibson, who was the first to use the terms "cyberspace" and "the matrix" to describe a virtual reality setting. Ready Player One simply ripped these ideas off.

      I already have nieces who at 4-5 were using an iPad 24/7. Literally it was their books, their “schoolwork”, and their “recreational device”. They played games, streamed, and surfed from their parents device. This was almost 10 years ago now.
      You could not possibly convince me that this generation has a single chance of rejection of the metaverse. Literally it is more satisfying, more functional, and more immersive than their actual lives, which essentially are spent mostly on social media and phones already.
      It is no surprise at all that this will become the cafe, bar, restaurant, theater etc for everyone under a certain age. They already have made it illegal to gather with their friends or travel in the largest nations on earth. They legally cannot socialize.
      How could this go any other way? With both lawmakers and police and technocrats all coming together to create their Orwellian brave new world. What other options do these people have when “work from home” is becoming legally mandatory, and you can get fined or arrested in some countries right now for going to a coffeshop, restaurant or bar?

    • @Reallyreally-mg2ll
      @Reallyreally-mg2ll ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't think that's the idea here, the idea is alternative virtual meetings with virtual screens where others can work and interact together in a way which wouldn't be possible or easy otherwise. Besides this though, the resolution needs to be improved dramatically, including the technology itself to make gaming a more immersive reality. The technology is incredible in practice but still holds a large room for improvement, which consequently cannot replace console gaming or personal computer gaming in it's current state.

    • @Reallyreally-mg2ll
      @Reallyreally-mg2ll ปีที่แล้ว

      To follow up, nobody is playing this or using this for very long and if they are it's not to escape socializing or reality, that problem is not inherent of vr but anything that can be used too much and be of harm. Virtual reality sucks in my opinion for gaming but the practical use of it especially productivity with mixed reality is more of an interest to me.

      @cj it 100% can be more dangerous . To be no more dangerous means there will be no different consequences to this. The immersiveness can have extreme psychological effects. At least with phones we can take pictures of the real world and our actual lives, and planning things we still have to physically go places to really hang out and go to shows. This will create an alternate reality that people enjoy and feel safe, all the time. They no longer need to leave the house as everything can be delivered nowadays.
      Any real person to person interaction will become overwhelming to many. It's not as concerning for adults, but when younger and younger kids get into it, that becomes the world they know. Their brain is developing while they experience these things and meeting friends in this vs a classroom is going to affect certain parts of the brain. This may be an extreme case to assume this magnitude of transition will happen, but it has to at least be considered

Sometimes automatic door buttons (and braille placards) are BEHIND the door or in a weird enough position that you either get hit by the door or, when you finally get a wheelchair positioned to go through it, the door has started to shut again...
