And who gave them their technology? A black market weapons dealer named Old Snake who is very clearly an aged past his prime Cobra Commander, even voiced by Chris Latta and does the Cobra yell at the end of the episode, though it makes him cough due to his old age.

Isaac Sumdac is an amazing dad, having to try and adapt so quickly to things no dad ever really has had to. One moment, just a single dude. Next moment, legit dad without any mother to help him raise the daughter who just seemingly appeared out of nowhere. Thankfully, due to how he handled raising Sari, it seems she never questioned where her mother was before getting her upgrade. Also, I never thought about that, how he got to skip dealing with his daughter going through puberty 😂. With a half Cybertronian daughter, I can only imagine how much more stressful Sari's puberty would've been. Dude seriously dodged a bullet there. Talk about lucky 😂

This cements Optimus's status as Robo-Dad.

He’s a real stubborn, jaded, and trigger-happy guy who hates the Decepticons for “killing his father”. Unbeknownst to him, Sixshot and Greatshot have both been looking for him for millennia…
You really should've mentioned exactly how Star Saber became Jan's father. So for those who are interested: Jan's parents, Mr and Mrs Minakaze, were crewmates on a spaceship. And one fateful day, they were killed when that ship was attacked and destroyed by the Decepticon Dino Force, with Jan himself being just a baby at the time. Before the shuttle blew up, Jan's parents loaded him into an escape pod they fired into space, becoming the only human who survived the attack. He was found by the Autobots, with Star Saber raising him as his son.
Good idea for a video. The idea of a transformer adopting a human child as and being a father is such an interesting idea. Glad to see someone did it with Star Sabre. I would say that Optimus/Orion and Trion have a more grandfather and grandson-type relationship, especially in the Aligned Continuity, their dynamic always gave off a Harry and Dumbledore-like feel to me. To the point that, had he not passed away recently, I would have preferred Michael Gambon voice Alpha Trion in Transformers One rather than Laurence Fishburne.

Transformers needs to explore more familial relationships not only between humans and bots but between bots and other bots. It might just be my aroace ass being self indulgent but i would love for Optimus and Bumblebee's father-son relationships to be explored in a more serious story (like as soon as i read about them in the go! Go! Manga i was just hooked!), or hell! Reinterpreting Starscream's and Megatron's relationship to be that one of a unhealthy father-son! (Never forgetting me and my friend watching the G1 cartoon and him calling Starscream "Megatron shitty bird son thing"). And not to keep going but the crimes i would commit for Megatron's and Optimus friendship to actually be a sort of doomed found brothers sort of tragedy...

He never actually appears in the show but is name dropped. Not sure how that plays out in the original Car Robots version but it was a thing in the English dub. And of course RID2001 literally kicks off with the first scene of the series being Megatron in his giant hand mode kidnapping the main character's father because he's a scientist and Megatron needs his scientific knowledge for his plans. The main plot of most of the series is just about the Autobots helping Koji to get his father back. There's Ron Witwickey and Cade Yager in the live action films. And as much as I don't like the live action movies I will give them credit for doing one thing right and giving the human characters actual names. Sparkplug sounds like he should be a robot not a human and that name has been reused for robotic characters where it fit better than the G1 version. So I'm happy the live action films called him Ron instead. Cade has a more interesting and more active role though and oddly never stops being a dad even when they wrote his daughter out of the last movie using that excuse that she was away at collage, he still writes to her, he still talks to her, it's not like they forgot about her. Cody being the youngest is the only one without a Rescue Bot partner but he kind of bonds with all of them. There's also Professor Greene who is the father of Cody's best friend Frankie and later in the series gets remarried and has another baby... they never mention what happen to Frankie's mom we just know the woman who is the mother of her baby sister is her step mom. And you didn't mention Earthspark Wheeljack who Twitch calls Dad2 because she sees Alex as her first dad but then later finds out Wheeljack invented the drone she scanned for her alt mode and Wheeljack teaches her how to use the tech he built into the drone so there's a familiar bond there. And spoilers... I did get a chance to watch most of season 2 and there's another 2 part episode all about Twitch and Wheeljack that expands on their relationship. I kinda like that Wheeljack didn't really see himself that way at first but has warmed up to Twitch over time. BTW not official canon but I did write my own TF fan fiction that uses a lot of these familiar bonds and is set in G1 fiction. Optimus Prime and Elita-One are the parents of 3 children, Optimus Primal, Heinrad, and Slo-Mo. In my fiction there's a Primus Council, loosly based on the Convoy Council from Japanese fiction but they aren't all directly related to Optimus Prime, they've just all been reformatted to look like him. Optimus Primal however being a direct decendant who took his name I just literally wrote in as his son. Heinrad is in there because he shares Elita-One's ability to stop time. And Slo-Mo, which yes is based on the Animated human super villain, in my fiction is a former Autobot turned Decepticon who also shares her mother's ability to manipulate time just like her brother Heinrad. I never really thought about Megatron that much but I basically treated all of the BW cast with G1 names who were meant to be seperate characters as if they're directly related to their G1 name sake in some way. I just put a lot more thought into Optimus Prime and Elita-One having kids because I wanted a back story that explained Slo-Mo's extreamly rare powers that only 2 characters have ever been known to have. (Technically Bayverse Hot Rod can do it too but that's a different continuity.) I even gave her 2 better known brothers that are actual established characters to explain how she fell in with the Decepticons. My Slow-Mo is basically a forgotten middle child.

The person locked a thread for an argument that had already ended on peaceful terms over 6 months before he even did anything about it. He also locked me out of a mental health thread for talking about my mental health. I went to an admin above him to get that reversed which took them nearly 3 months to do and the moderator was still an active moderator after I complained about him to the Admins and was still continueing to abuse his privligages to stalk me on the forums. I ended up ASKING them to delete my account because of this which they refused to do so I got banned on purpose by publicly calling out the staff on their abuse of power.

At least 4 other people I'm aware of also had complaints about him and nothing was ever done about it. I tried going through the proper channels to complain to admins about him but between multiple complaints about him privately and continued harassment for over a year and a half I finally went public with the issues which is against forum rules and was banned instantly. Clearly their priorities are more focused on protecting their moderators shady behavior than protecting their members. I actually asked them to delete my account because I was no longer interested in being a member there and they wouldn't let me to that. My tolerance was wore down and they left me with no better options. I've been much happier since than banning though. I regret nothing.

And spoilers... I did get a chance to watch most of season 2 and there's another 2 part episode all about Twitch and Wheeljack that expands on their relationship.
I kinda like that Wheeljack didn't really see himself that way at first but has warmed up to Twitch over time.
BTW not official canon but I did write my own TF fan fiction that uses a lot of these familiar bonds and is set in G1 fiction. Optimus Prime and Elita-One are the parents of 3 children, Optimus Primal, Heinrad, and Slo-Mo.
In my fiction there's a Primus Council, loosly based on the Convoy Council from Japanese fiction but they aren't all directly related to Optimus Prime, they've just all been reformatted to look like him. Optimus Primal however being a direct decendant who took his name I just literally wrote in as his son.
Heinrad is in there because he shares Elita-One's ability to stop time.
And Slo-Mo, which yes is based on the Animated human super villain, in my fiction is a former Autobot turned Decepticon who also shares her mother's ability to manipulate time just like her brother Heinrad.
I never really thought about Megatron that much but I basically treated all of the BW cast with G1 names who were meant to be seperate characters as if they're directly related to their G1 name sake in some way. I just put a lot more thought into Optimus Prime and Elita-One having kids because I wanted a back story that explained Slo-Mo's extreamly rare powers that only 2 characters have ever been known to have. (Technically Bayverse Hot Rod can do it too but that's a different continuity.) I even gave her 2 better known brothers that are actual established characters to explain how she fell in with the Decepticons. My Slow-Mo is basically a forgotten middle child.

@@nitrostormskystriker478 I was being discriminated against and harrassed by one of their moderators.
The person locked a thread for an argument that had already ended on peaceful terms over 6 months before he even did anything about it.
He also locked me out of a mental health thread for talking about my mental health. I went to an admin above him to get that reversed which took them nearly 3 months to do and the moderator was still an active moderator after I complained about him to the Admins and was still continueing to abuse his privligages to stalk me on the forums.
I ended up ASKING them to delete my account because of this which they refused to do so I got banned on purpose by publicly calling out the staff on their abuse of power.
@@nitrostormskystriker478 Not sure how that's relevant to this conversation but basically there was a moderator abusing privages and harassing board members he didn't agree with.
At least 4 other people I'm aware of also had complaints about him and nothing was ever done about it. I tried going through the proper channels to complain to admins about him but between multiple complaints about him privately and continued harassment for over a year and a half I finally went public with the issues which is against forum rules and was banned instantly.
Clearly their priorities are more focused on protecting their moderators shady behavior than protecting their members.
I actually asked them to delete my account because I was no longer interested in being a member there and they wouldn't let me to that. My tolerance was wore down and they left me with no better options.
I've been much happier since than banning though. I regret nothing.
