May I ask: with the extn lintel you mentioned it was quite expensive. What were the reasons that you chose not to make one onsite?

Great vid. How did you get round not having to mirror how next door did their extension? If they hadn't already extended, would you have only been able to extend in the way they did rather than what you ended up doing due to restrictions with neighbour windows etc?

Thanks mate. We applied for planning permission and they granted it as long as we had a 30cm drop over 3m on rear return. I have explained it a bit clearer in a video I am editting right now so keep an eye out for next upload

Whats the deal with extending right out to the boundary? I.e instead of the fence the one side and using the neighbours wall on the other - is that possible?

Hi mate! Yeah that is possible, requires a slightly different party wall agreement but is super doable. Ive made a video explaining that part, its in the concrete pour video(about mid way thru). Reason we didn’t do that is well. The less we speak to that difficult miserable bat next door the better😂 so just decided to take the tiny loss in sqm
