I bought a 20 room Regency mansion on the Yorkshire coast which was literally falling down. My 6 month renovation took over 2 years! EBay was a godsend for me. I could go on for hours about the bargains I bought and collected from all corners of the country but the best one was a hand built kitchen by Mark Wilkinson which originally cost over £80k picked up for £3k from Regents Park. The fridge alone costs £14k and we simply dismantled it and made the room fit the units rather than the other way round as you would usually do. The bonus really was nothing in the kitchen had ever been used so we saved about £75k and it looks amazing. I love what you have done here. It’s a top class job and I can see how much you enjoyed it. Well done.

You must be so proud doing so much of it yourself, seeing how beautifully it turned out! I like a lot of these ideas, though I'd make changes: a) a stove tap for filling pots, b) cutlery drawer should *not* be in the larder, too much faff to grab a fork - should be easy to access and on your way to the table and c) needs a full splashback, that plaster/bare wall is going to get manky. I'm designing for my terraced house kitchen extension so seeing these types of videos is so helpful - I know what I want & don't want! Wish I could do half as much as you (I'm a 5"3 weak woman).
You asked about coffee machine.. The Gaggia Classic Pro is the best espresso machine you can buy under £500, however, the Lelit Bianca would look insane in this kitchen 😍 You will also need a Niche Zero coffee grinder. The perfect duo. Congrats on the project! The kitchen is absolutely incredible 👏🏼

I'll admit, I'm jealous of how much less kitchen renovations cost over there in the UK, than they do here in the US. Here in the US, you pretty much gotta spend a small fortune if you want your kitchen renovated. Like those accordion doors, the least expensive ones here are like six grand.
Man hole inside the house? Could you not have had that re-routed outside? I have never seen this in the UK. What happens if that over flows into the house with waste water does your house insurance cover the contamination?
The more concrete you use the higher the carbon impact as it quite high carbon cost. I wouldn't say that was a large garden for london. That high fencing is not great for gardens. It's not jealously. The more light the better for gardens. This trend for 6ft fences is not good.
Since when do building regs allow a manhole inside in the UK?? I'll tell you never. You have to reroute it to outside.. yes the place looks amazing not taking that away from you.

8:49 in the states we call it quarter sawn oak. The figuring is called flecks (smallers ones) and rays (the crescent-ish shaped).

try " De Longhi" coffee machines...they are Italian - don´t cost the world and make excellent espresso and cappuccino 🤩 and they are small
