The Ashoka Theme is the mantra to Shani - god of justice. From what I've found it translates to 'Ode to Lord Shani, please be kind to me and soothe my nerves.'

@@andreproudian7032 Best I can tell, most of them are prayers to Shanishwar, the God of Retribution and Justice. Something along the lines of how He brings wrath upon the unrighteous and defends the just. Which, given the role of Sajuuk for the Hiigarans, is amazingly appropriate.
Fun fact, the Kushan were an actual post-mongol dynasty of modern-day Afghanistan, Pakistan, and North India, related to the rulers of the later tricentennial Mughal Empire that the British would conquer.
Almost everything you said is wrong. The Kushan were an Iranian people who established their rule a millennia before the Mongolian Gengis Khan did. You only got right the location of their state.

Nice, they used actual Hindu prayers. Clearly someone at BBI and Gearbox had a lot of fun.
That's really cool. Since I first picked up the game, I've always wondered what they were saying. I'd be really interested in the lyrics.
