I wonder when exactly we here in Brazil lost that. In 2002, during the transfer of power from former president FHC to then president elect Lula, things worked nice and smooth. But now, we have so much hatred, personal accusations and offenses in our parliament and during elections that I wonder if we'll ever unite our country towards a common goal of prosperity.

I know people from Britain probably don't look at their politician's favourably, but as an outsider your parliament looks so much more wholesome than most other democracies
