He was used as a scapegoat. He was far too loyal to the party itself from what it seems rather than evaluating whether the leaders were just using him as a pawn. A shrewder politician may have stepped away from the limelight, but given how Sunak entered politics, I reckon he stayed the course out of a sense of duty. What kind of connections could he seriously gain after being used as scapegoat in chief by the Tory elite and having his reputation ruined? I reckon he felt duty for the people.

The reason he wasn't good as PM is because the Tory party elite screwed over the nation and left Sunak the keys at the last minute for him to be scapegoat in chief. Sunak was only a minor politician until Covid. The fact he did as well as he did was a damn miracle for this country, especially given how botched the PPE stuff was. He was too loyal to the Tory party itself and too dutiful to be a smart politician, and that, in some sense is admirable, but he has ultimately wasted his chance to be a major politician because of his sense of duty for the people instead of biding his time and letting someone else take the fall for the Tory fuck ups and reemerging after Labour fails.

Alas, it seems Britain cannot have any good things and Sunak will most likely not politically recover from his time as scapegoat in chief.

What other leader wouldn't have handed the opposition the election in those dire circumstances? It is a damn shame that the British right has refused to acknowledge that the mainstream media constantly sabotaged Sunak's reputation and constantly made Sunak's efforts look worse than Labour even when that clearly wasn't true. But the right won't admit that Sunak was in fact a loyal Brit who sacrificed the longevity of his political career just to try and make things a bit better because they think he wasn't conservative enough.
And I don't even think Sunak was conservative enough, I just wouldn't act like he is some completely apathetic rich bastard given that he went into local politics instead of advancing in his much better paid financial career and was only given a top job because of the crisis caused by Covid, during which it is clear that he objected to all the major flaws in Tory governance but was too loyal to the party and to the people to resign over it and lose his ability to improve the situation.

Feder, who was the chief economist for the NSDAP, understood that usury kept the people mired in materialism and poverty, with a negative downstream effect of all other aspects of national flourishing. He is quoted as follows:
"Our anti-Mammonistic battle, which is ranged above the other two battle-fronts, is directed against the world-encompassing financial power, that is, against the permanent financial and economic bleeding and exploitation of our people through large loan capital. This battle however is, on the other hand, also a powerful intellectual struggle against the soul-destroying materialistic spirit of egoism and avarice with all its concomitant corrupting manifestations in all fields of our public, economic and cultural life.“
    ~ Gottfried Feder

Theyre both as bad as each other.
This country's political system has become toxic, and riddled with corruption and utter contempt for the people.
There needs to be a mass clearout of these "career politicians" and back to what democracy is supposed to be: public service, where you serve your time and then move on, giving someone else an opportunity.

One of your biggest roadblocks, spiritual loop holes, and financial nightmare is gone. I wish you had the courage to accept the fact that you lack the wisdom and discernment to thoroughly and spiritually scrutinize those who plan on leading any nation for that matter. One must be led by the Spirit of the living God in order to lead any nation. Don't repeat this blunder again.

How can anyone ever think this person was any good for the majority of Brits . Rich beyond imagination..he cared nothing for the poor ..the disabled and the infirm..in fact if he had by some miracle won in 2024 he would have made more cuts to the disabled ...while giving his rich friends even more money. I won't miss you Rishi. Goodbye and good riddance
