    I extend the drain valves on my compressors with brass pipe and put a ball valve on them so it makes it easier to drain never used soft line very cool 😎

    • @BigDog50001
      @BigDog50001  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hard lines are better but the angle of the drain valve on the old HF air compressor made that difficult.

    Dave...nice as usual. I have an accurate Astro inflator but find myself rarely using it ever since I got a Vaclife automatic inflator where you set the psi and it will automatically inflate to the desired psi and then shut off. It is surprising very accurate after confirming with my Accu-gage. No more back and forth adding or releasing air.

    Dave very nice. I have the Dewalt 15gal. 200psi model. I’ve had it for a few years now and it’s problem free. Noisy yes but nothing you can do about that. It sounds like yours runs pretty quiet seeing as it’s oil lubed. I liked that. You know me when I get one of your positive tool reviews. Mine is only 5.0CFM AT 90PSI. It does the job. It had no problem breaking the Honda crank pulley bolt loose for the timing belt job. Anyway let me know how you like it. Dave you and family stay safe and well Artie 🇺🇸 Dave I stayed to the end do you like the hose and is it flexible. Up north here the poly hoses get very stiff in the cold. Real pain to roll up. Let me know I’ll buy some accessories. 👍

    • @BigDog50001
      @BigDog50001  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It certainly doesn't get as cold here as it does up north but I'll let you know how these hoses hold up after I use them for a while. Thanks for the comment Artie!

    I was looking at that same compressor about a year ago. I should have bought it then because it was cheaper. Ended up going with battery impacts to save space in the garage.

    I see how you posted this video over a year ago. So far, any problems? How much, before tax, approx, did you pay for this unit? You can use the regulator to bring the pressure down to 120 psi, then plug it in your harbor freight (with a quick release installed on one of your ports on the manifold that goes to the main tank, not after the regulator) to increase tank size and cfm; with both units hooked up on its own dedicated electrical outlets, they can run together if need be. Only the loud compressor will kick in if your dewalt lacks recovery power. You can probably paint nonstop.

    Nice review. Any reason you didn’t go for the equivalent 30 gallon even though the 30 gal says it’s 155psi? For an impact wrench working on suspension is 155psi enough or would the 25gal at 200psi be better? Thanks!

    Who cares about taking it out of the box? How well does it work with AIR TOOLS? Will it run a cut off wheel or die grinder? If all you're going to do is put 32 psi in your wife's tire or blow dust off your bench, you could have saved about $500

      Yes, with appropriate sprayers that don't use an extremely high CFM. I showed it in action (painting) on my Accord Project videos.
