As someone watching in 2020 Immortals would have been perfect pick for Protoss in this game. Probably could have won too, since Terran had all armored units.
The Battle Reports were primarily for showing off new features in SCII - they probably told the players to use as many different units and abilities as they could and try to use them in certain ways. He probably would've played better had he been playing normally.
@@SuperfieldCrUn Not really, they played these games normally -- the devs regularly played each other. Then they picked replays to show off in the Battle Report
Summarising all of the Battle reports: David Kim always. Like. Always wins a longer game. He is on top of the meta with his bio pushes and bunker rushes, hatchery blocks and everything. I'm pretty surprised how good he is for 2010s. I mean the majority of player in 2010 never walled off. Never expanded as fast. He is on top of the meta game and well Terrans were OP in 2010. And he knew exactly what was overpowered.
I notised the easy way of blowing up resource gatherers very fast which seems too annoying - maybe more hitpoints to those? I get the feeling that many specialise in very early rushes on gatherers.
@Graham6762 @Graham6762 it was a special pylon which was much like a orginal pylon but had special abilites like you could speedboost your probes or recharge the shield of your units
5 minutes in 2010: couple siege tanks few hellions
5 minutes in 2020: maxxed out army, 5 expansions, battle cruisers teleported into my asshole

I miss when Thors were actually used for other thing other than kill mutas. :P also, that old model of them was so cool; at least Odin got it.
Its funny how everyone thought David Kim was OP. If he played like this in current ladder, he would get stuck around gold :D

Agreed. The diamonds and masters of 2010 are equivalent to golds and platinums of today
if i recall correctly david kim was either GM or very close to it in 2011/2012. he was an experienced bw player too
