Also if she didn't feel anything while her hair is getting washed that is very concerning. Might need to take an ambulance ride cause she should have been in a lot of pain. Like girl you might have nerve damage in your scalp.
I wish I would go to an African braider..wait I don't wear braids lol. But I've seen them in action and they have 2 people on one head. I don't like that. I'm picky icky icky. I can be a handful and idk
Im on the stylist side. She was very apologetic and took accountability for not assessing the scalp first. I do think the client had a prior scalp condition, which caused the scalp to bleed. That young lady needs to see a doctor ASAP! Kudos to the stylist 👏🏾
I'm also on the stylist's side. She's very genuine and the client's scalp probably already had an issue. Even if the stylist did use her nails to scrub her scalp (which is technically not how you're supposed to do it even if you think it feels good because it is damaging to the scalp) that probably just made it worse but didn't cause it.
🚨She is suppose to inspect the scalp BEFORE starting any service. Check for lice, broken skin any abnormalities. Is she licensed? Glad she admitted that she should have checked before, imagine her working on you next, if she not examining scalps thoroughly 👍🏾✌🏾
It’s also learned behavior. Moms need to be more proactive with checking in on their children’s braids while it’s happening to ensure it’s not too tight.
@masseiy if it's too tight the 1st person that's gone say ouch is the child but if their old enough they may hold it in which is stupid. Straight stupid. Big as she was. Big enough make a video about it because she scared the braider gonna come back with hands. Well she should have said something. At some point "kids" become a certain age and have to be accountable for some things 🙄. Come on now
@@ms.evegene I know what you mean but they need to be taught to speak up and have that modeled. For example my mom always checked in with me mid braids while I was a teen. As an adult I’m not shy about asking braiders to redo something when it’s too tight and I’m assertive inspite of any attitude given
@masseiy I definitely understand. We need to go to schools or something and teach these girls. I need to get my Cosmo license so I can make trips and help them. Too bad schools have no substance 😔💔. How to do their hair. How to sit. Save money. Talk about boys. All these things which I wasn't told...
Honestly the beauty industry in the last few years truly showed how much BW hate each other.. so sad…in this specific case the stylist sounded like she move accordingly and kept trying to reach back out to the client and look how quick the client went online to cause chaos smh 🤦🏿♀️
The stylist definitely doesn’t appear malicious. I was on the client’s side at first but after hearing the stylist side, and seeing her picture, that had to be preexisting condition exacerbated by the shampoo. I think all sides can learn: the client speaking up for herself during the service if it’s uncomfortable. The stylist doing a proper assessment especially for new clients.
I’m on the stylist’s side from the beginning. The stylist saw the problem and quit. Whether it was her fault or not, she saw the issue and quit. Pro tip: if you have an allergy, ask what products they use. If your allergen is in them let them know. I know stylists who keep specific products for specific clients. Next. Always ask what your stylist is using. Make sure it’s in the original container . That way if you have a reaction you can relay that to anyone healthcare professionals. Finally. Don’t lie to your stylist. Yeah you want what you want, but you might have to wait to get it.
I’m still on the client’s side. No matter how genuine either party presents or regardless of their perceived intent, the stylist is still at fault. There is now video of her acknowledging this as well. I think both parties dropped the ball, but if I were the client this salon/stylist would be reported to the BBB, cosmetology board, and a small claim would have already been filed at this point. I’m not going back and forth about anything especially when my QOL is at risk.
I’m still wondering how that bald spot got there like that and she didn’t feel it? I believe the stylist didn’t intentionally hurt her. I take back what I said on the client’s vid saying the stylist didn’t wanna do her hair. What started her scalp bleeding tho?
My opinion is the same as yours and I’m still confused what caused the bleeding but I agree with thingsilove as well. The client was more concerned with getting her hair done then her scalp health🤎
The stylist sounded genuine. Sometimes the customer is not always right.
I agree🤎

No stylist intends to make people’s scalp bleed… EXCEPT the African braider who was out there boiling the other girls scalp 😅

I seen a small clip of that with a girl crying and it really disgusted me sooo much. I couldn’t bear to see it!
lol 😂

I agree🤎 definitely should visit a dermatologist 🤎

That’s how I’m feeling as well🤎

Yes I believe she’s licensed and I’m glad she took accountability as well and I hope she uses this as a learning lesson🤎
That little girl need to go back to that braider. BW!!!!! PLEASE-Beauty is not pain. And love does not hurt, ever👑✨
I agree🤎

I love when my hair ladies have nails on to scrub my head. I’m definitely standing with the stylist.
It feels good to me as well🤎

I agree after the stylist video I actually believe her and I’m glad she took accountability for the part she played 🤎

I think this might be because of the product use because it looks like irritation.
That’s a great point that I haven’t seen mentioned yet🤎

Makes sense🤎🤎🤎

I genuinely think that she was more concerned with getting her hair done than the condition scalp.

So, if the client had lice, it's possible that this stylist would had serviced her since she didn't check her scalp first.
Yep smh 🤦🏾♀️
9:53 What did she offer? I rewinded so many times and this part doesn't make sense.
She offered to do her hair at a later date even on her off day once he scalp cleared up but the client wanted her hair done right away🤎
