Thank you. Good tip about replacing screws with brass ones.

I've always wondered how this was done. I need to redo my bench. Thank you!

Would it work if you powder coated the first layer with a light paint (without sandblasting to remove the rust, to preserve texture), and then do the second darker layer by hand as you suggest? Do show more of the lighter colour, would you just use more thinner to dilute the darker colour some more? Thank you.

Did you grind your furniture down with a wire, or did it come that way? If I have a table and chair set that has a good amount of shipping from corrosion, should i scrub it down to the aluminum and the paint from there or just touch up the chipped areas?

I just wire brushed mine to remove scale and loose paint, then painted it.

Hello, I really liked your video. But what if I want the chair to look like an Old red? Should I use the dark coating on top (50/50 mix)? Or should I add less of the dark coating to the thinner?

I have always used the 50/50 mix, then wipe off immediately.

I have this same chairs with the matching round table the furniture looks good I don’t see any rusting but it has no shine I would just like to clean it and add a protective clear coding. What do you recommend? The color it has is like the antique you did on this video but with black and brown.

you could go with either a polyurethane or a furniture wax.

Please, PLEASE change the words that were 'auto-corrected wrongly'. We cannot understand the sounds of some words and auto-correct made it so we don't know exactly what you mean. Thanks

Thank you. I would like to use this method to paint white color over copper color on wrought iron patio table and chairs. I already spray painted the furniture using Rust-oleum aged copper color and it turned out well, however I think antiquing a second color would help it blend in with my other furniture. Anything I should be concerned about using this method on wrought iron?

I always apply the light color first, then the darker color over that--- this way the dark is in the crevices when you wipe it down.

Very nice job. Did you have to put a clear coat on the final finish or is that it? I am about to refinish a small little table and two little chairs that look like they are a decorative antique garden set. I think I am going to use your technique.

What ration of green and white did you use to achieve the light green color?

I don't know--- I just mixed a little at a time until I got the shade I was after.
