Ford now offers a Performance Tune for the Ranger Raptor straight from the factory if you select it. Its also covered under your parts warranty (3 year/36k miles). It brings a 50 hp and 106 lb-ft of torque gain, for a new output of 455 hp and 536 lb-ft of torque, which is nuts. Thats 25hp away from a new 2025 Mustang GT (not Dark Horse), and is now more horsepower and torque than a new Ford F-150 Raptor (not R version). The cost of the tune is only $825 extra, so the gains per dollar is great. At the overall cost, including the tune price, I wouldn't even think about getting the F-150. I don't need a full size truck aways, since I am looking for a performance trail runner (400+ hp) for overlanding, and hauling a smaller overland trailer with the family (which you usually don't want a full size truck for tighter trails anyways). This is perfect, and checks every box especially with that newly available tune.
We have a similar option available for a power upgrade in my part of the world. But the price is around $6k. It takes the standard engine power from 292 Kw / 580 Nm of Torque. Up to 380 Kw / 780 Nm of Torque. And still covered under factory warranty. For those who want this upgrade can have it completed before they take delivery of the Brand New Raptor 👍
I'm guessing there is NO Sunroof Option because the Raptor is intended more for off road use. But I know the RAM TRX has it as an option for around 10k ??? But to be honest, after you buy any vehicle with a Sunroof. You open it a dozen times, and then you won't really open that much after that ??
Beside that, my problem is that they are just explaining what a cdc, by nature is live and active, is rather then why there implementation is better and passing cdc tech, it as revolutionary. It would be impressive if it were say magnetic(linear) dampening suspension. Alas
You know, the attention to details can be reflected on a lot of things and thus reflect on the culture of a company, 3:48, They really put ICU in the vids while saying ECU.🤣😅 Get people with no care in a company. That'd how I fell about Ford and this ranger now. Too bad my first car was a ford and had another 2 in the past

great video
1Great video! Thank you
The best mid-size truck on the market. PERIOD!!
You can use 87 octane in ranger raptor. In fact says it right on fuel door. You get better results from 91/93 but it runs fine on 87.
My gas cap says 91
Yup, you are correct. Looking at the manual in front of me, the manual states that you can use 87 but for best performance you should use 91/93.
Wait are you in the US. Maybe that is the difference.
@@chrisdriner Yes I am. Mostly likely TKO593 is here as well.
Ok must be US only allowing 87
Ford needs to invest in a plugin hybrid system like the BYD Shark. You get huge gas savings and better power output.
No sunroof option at $60k? The GMC AT4X and the TRD does, wish the Raptor did.

So much of what you are showing are options. Example The bead lock rims or the spray on bed liner.

Most affordable yet….that’s sad
That’s reality unfortunately. Seems like 100K is the new 60k these days
