The first part is fine, the last 20% is large rocks, so a simple scramble. But watch your footing in the dark I can imagine a few twisted ankles have happened up there. The route becomes harder to follow too. Cadair’s pathways are more obvious. Go easy if it’s your first in the dark.
The UK is unpredictable. If you want fall trees mid November is the cutoff but our winter weather is pretty autumnal. Sometimes snows in march / April. But it’s mostly damp and moody all year round 🥲
Would this hike be too dangerous to do at night? I recently done Cadair idris without going up beforehand and wasn’t too bad

@@willyonamountain The UK, is basically the same from October to February. Dark, wet, muddy and grey. The Autumn is beautiful but it's subtle.
