Jayma, thank you so, so much for demonstrating that die-set for me. I purchased it but when it arrived & I tried it out I was disappointed with it but now I realise that I just didn't understand how it was designed to highlight with colour & then put together using the slits but at the present time my eyesight is not good so having you demonstrate it was wonderful, so I will pull it out & have another play with it!!
For people like me who cannot understand the assembly pictures, then you just go online in youtube & type in the card set & a video will come up with one of the ladies unboxing & making the cards which is definitely a go to for me!! I always struggled with CTMH instructions as well because I need to see a thing done to understand what you are talking about!! The older I get, the worse I am getting in this department!! 😂
You are not alone…I think a lot of people need to see things in action. Partly why I like to do process videos…gives people ideas! I am glad the demo helped you. It’s such a pretty set!
Sorry not sorry 😅 you are going to love the embossing folder. We got a lot of the same products those kits are so good. I think I need the flower die set now. 😂
Hahaha! I had almost bought that EF a couple times but you definitely put me over the edge! I am surprised you didn’t get the flower dies!
Fun unboxing! I thought of something while you were talking about putting the dies on the magnet sheets. Take a picture with your cell phone and you can refer to it for placing the dies back on the magnet the way they came! For future reference, print the picture on some plain paper or cardstock and place it in the box if you wish or Save the picture to a directory you set up for dies by name. Just thinking out loud. I love the turtles!!!!!!!!!
That’s a great idea for the dies. I may need to do that for the floral ones!
Great UnBoxing! I LOVE the Floral dies...Tip: i snap a picture, print it, slip in with the dies for future re placement.

I’m so glad you enjoyed! I am not a huge gnome fan either but have enjoyed the gnome sets. It’s nice you can “gnome them up” or not haha!
Thank you for showing what you were able to get, for your information NO Stampin Up demonstrator or guest can purchase CTMH products yet, hopefully it will come in the next catalogue, as for a camera stamp. Stampin Up did that a while ago(Capture the good). CTMH might have been big in the USA but in Australia it was not. So it has been good that Stampin Up managed to get CTMH products, especially for us Australians. And Thank You for your layouts very inspiring.
Glad you enjoy the layouts! CTMH is bigger in the USA but definitely not as big as SU…like 10x smaller. But was geared more toward scrapbooking for sure. You are right on… only those who had a CTMH account can order the CTMH thru SU. Rumor is that SU scrapbooking kits are coming in Sept that everyone can purchase. 🤞🏻
@@JaymaMalme I hope so Jayma. CTMH was the best for scrapbooking, my membership with SU is highly conditional on their meeting my requirements. TBH I only shop for CTMH remnants at this point in time. I absolutely hate SU red rubber stamps - with arthritic hands and red rubber just so awful compared to CTMH pre-labelled and clear ... no competition. But heck nothing will stop me watching you, Erin and the other CTMH makers you lovelies absolutely brighten my day when I see a new post!
I know of quite a few SU demos who had CTMH accounts and can purchase those products.
@@madswansfan1 Lucky them! Yes, anyone who had an account with CTMH can order the CTMH items. As much as I love CTMH and will miss them, I am so glad that this "exclusive" product and rushing for things won't be a thing anymore. I am so happy that similar scrapbooking kits will be available from SU to anyone pretty soon.
@@JaymaMalme I’m waiting to see if there will be a rush. It will be interesting to see what quantities they make and how popular they will be when releases.

You are a very good ambassador for both companies. If the kits are CTMH how do you color match?
Aw, thank you! I have loved CTMH for many, many years and have come to love SU too, so it’s easy! 😊😍 I have A LOT of CTMH cardstock left so I have been using that, however there are a lot of SU colors that have close matches. You can usually get pretty close with a lot of colors. SU has also been offering the coordinating CTMH cardstock with each release. This was the last CTMH release, though, so from here on out the new scrapbooking kits will come from SU and use their colors.
Jayma, I was watching and thought you might want to know that Stamp N Storage has 6x6 magnet cards.

do the stamp pad trays hold a CTMH pad and still be able to hold the marker?
The SU trays can fit the CTMH ink pads but they stick out quite a bit further. But the markers stick out pretty far too…still further than a CTMH pad. The marker spot is pretty big so it can fit a variety of brands. The SU ink pads don’t fit in the CTMH trays, though. Which is why I had to get the new ones 😂🙃

One of the things I hated about CTMH was that they would run out of the popular items and never restock. Sounds like SU is doing more of the same. Everyone knows what is going to be popular with the consumer so they should order more and enough of that product! I’ll spend my money elsewhere. Thank you for this video, though.😢
It’s just the CTMH items that are running out of stock quickly because SU does not have reordering capability of the products they took over from CTMH. I am with you, it was definitely extremely frustrating for CTMH to always run out of popular items and not always restock. I think a lot of that was that they were a much smaller company and had minimum order quantities that made it hard for them to do that. Still frustrating! But Stampin’ Up has actually done a really good job of reordering. They told us they use the demonstrator preorder month to gage how things sell and if something is selling better than they originally forecast, they place reorders way before they are even live to customers. The SU catalogs also last twice as long as CTMH’s and they are a MUCH bigger company, so it makes more sense for them to reorder.
Wild ferns do have dies they just are not sold as a bundle

Just out of curiosity, do you know whether or not SU hired any of the CTMH artists/ designers? I am loving a lot of the art I am seeing in the CTMH products.
I know they hired the art director and she is FABULOUS!! I don’t know specifically about designers but I would think so. They talked about it. Fingers crossed. I love the CTMH style.
@@JaymaMalme I am stoked! I am a Stampin Up Demo and I love what they do but I feel like we need a shot of new blood and I absolutely love the things I have seen from CTMH. I also feel like we need that to go forward with the Scrapbooking aspect and in general I want to see some different styles of stamps etc. I was really hoping SU had done that. BTW, you may know more than I do, but unless something has changed. The 2025/2026 catalog is probably completed. Here may not be any scrapbooking in the new catty u til the following year. Thank goodness for Online Exclusives.
@@patriciahunter1566I think it would definitely be a wonderful blend of styles! Yes, they did tell us they work 18-24 months out on catalogs and that scrapbook stuff may not be in catalogs for a while. I love the Online Exclusives! CTMH did something similar only they called them “specials.” There was a new one each month but would last 2 months.

I gave up ordering anything from either company after they constantly ran out of popular products. Seemed like a dishonest practice to me.
