With charms, I snip off the little circle and glue charms onto cards. You can use multiple on a single card. If you’re hand-delivering the card, you can put them on the envelope also.
The charms would look very nice as zipper pulls for zipper pouches...if anyone out there loves to sew! Especially for children and teens! Thank you for sharing with us!
Wendy, use those charms on your cards! Run a piece of thin ribbon through them and tie them on. You could even incorporate the lobster clasp thingy and your recipient will have a small gift from you. I have a ton of charms and jewelry findings from the days when my husband used to cut out wooden earrings. I just started putting them on my cards to help get rid of them and they are VERY well received.
I agree. I often add charms to my cards when they fit the design. During covid when my BIL’s family was unable to get together as they did annually he asked me to make cards for the elders. I used the tree theme, personalized with the family name and added leaf charms to each card. They were definitely well received! If you sell your cards (even if you want to make mass production and make gift sets for family/friends) you could actually design around the theme of each charm you have, and add one to each. The rainbow would be great on thinking of you and get well cards, etc 😊
On my scrapbook albums, mini-albums, & junk journals, on the very top of the spine I make a hole (cropodile) with an eyelet. I assemble a keychain-like clasp with several charms that relate to the album or just ones I love, and then attach the clasp through the eyelet.
I used to do albums so charms would go on them. I have several left (I'm hoping less than you!) and now I glue them to cards, either with Glossy Accents or with foam squares. I don't like the charms on my scissors but I do have tags to say what they are for (ribbons, tape, etc.). Thanks for showing.
I found the tape runner many many years ago and it is my go to tape dispenser. Thank you Michael’s for continuing to sell it. Now I have a new place to buy the tape (Amazon) also.
I love the white pens I made labels of all the different font sizes and put them on the back of my P. touch. This way I can easily flip the label maker over and see what size font I want to use. I also printed out instructions how to use chain-link which save so much tape.
Love the inspirational ideas and charms. I don’t remember receiving any charms with my orders. Maybe you had already stopped giving them out?? They are stinking cute!!😂
Hello Wendy. Thanks for the suggestions. I purchase my ATG refills from Tape Jungle. I purchase a case of 144 for $183.00 making each refill around $1.27. Lesser quantities can also be purchased. I believe they also have the ATG gun too
I so enjoyed hearing from you and knowing you are doing well. I knew you would. You are so creative but much more you are sincere and kind. Looking forwards to mor video updates as time goes by. And yes and Amen to the Lord always provides. He’s got you!! Big hugs ❤️🙏🏻😘
Just popping in with a good source for ATG gun refills. Tape Jungle have excellent pricing and a wide selection of adhesives in general. Also, I think U-Line has a few versions of the gun itself.
I concur...the tape gun is the best. I bought a second one a few years ago at a cheap price. I feel like it was going to be discontinued and that's why I bought it. But I don't remember 100%.
I have the tape gun and got it at Michaels years ago. And I started buying my tape for it at Amazon. Both are great. Get my storage bags, Art Glitter Institute glue, watercolor paper, especially black, mica powders and so much more. But i never thought to use 5x7 craft paper envelopes for bulky cards. I love to make shaker cards and cards with wobbles, so I need space. I'll be ordering the envelopes. I also like the charm idea for my tools. Thanks.
Thank you for sharing the goodies! I am curious where crafters get their items and what they like to use. Your idea of charms on scissors and other tools is amazing. I want to do that now. I think it will make a more cohesive look to my items. Thanks for providing the links. Now to decide what charms I want! (plus those small gray handled scissors look amazing) 🧡💜🧡
For the charms...use them for wine glass charms. A set of six with different charms. Use small round earring hoops to attach the charm around the wine glass stem. Glue a charm (E6000) to one arm of sunglasses to identify then. Attach with lobster claw and cord to purse handle straps. Incorporate a charm or two into a friendship bracelet. Make into zipper pulls for cosmetic or pencil bags, etc. Add a charm to a light pull. Use a charm on gift tag cords. Attach a charm to dangle from envelopes for gift cards or money envelopes. For hand delivered cards, use a blob of sealing or candle wax and embed the charm in the wax before it cools. Make a charm for candles, using thin wire to wrap around the base of the candle.
I can’t find your link for the ATG tape you use. Thank you for this video. BTW, while I was hunting for the tape, I found the ATG gun for sale on Amazon.
Any of those charms would be good on DIY glue stoppers. Everyone has such good ideas. Thanks for the semi-product reviews. I was happy to see I use about 90% of them. I have an older P-Touch labeler without the computer connection. I love gadgets so will remember the upgrade if my hardy one ever gives out. I think I've had it for 7 years or more and it still performs well. Using the computer-aided one, can you use the fonts you have installed on your computer? That would make it even more tempting.
Thank you. I would like to say something about the ATG. I found it clumsy to use and my wrist got tired when I made cards en masse. If anyone has arthritis in their fingers or wrists, they may want to consider the smaller glue runners. They work better for me than the ATG. Hugs.
I stopped using mine because every time I got a new tape roll it came off the roll backwards. I could not get them to work properly and let’s face it they are expensive to buy.
Uh, Yeah, this is a crafty video!!!!!! More stuff that we can buy. I frequently wonder, in a post-apocalyptic US, how will we survive without Amazon??? Regarding the charms, you can definitely make them into earrings for your friends and nieces. Btw, lanyard holders are also awesome for scissor holders.
Wendy I have a question about the scotch tape roller. I have had 2 in the past and thrown them away because I could never reload the gun to work. Do you have a video showing how to put the refill in? I know this is probably a dumb question but I had to ask. Thank you
Did you ever get (From Amazon) refills that were manufactured incorrectly and wouldn.t work at all--glue was on the wrong side of the refill spool?. I haven't bought (or find any others since that experience, and DO need to order_...very glad to know about the off brand and have it in the basket. Thank you.
I love the adhesive gun!! BUT i can NOT figure out at all how to refill!! It’s sitting in my drawer needing to reload. Would u be interested doing a tutorial on reloading? Thanks much!!!
I’m curious, do you find your cards come apart after sometime when you use the 3m tape gun? I’ve used their brand tape as well as the brand you suggested. My cards do fall apart.
Lol, i loved the part where you said the white gel pens are the most consistent, and then it skips a letter, lol. It's like it knew you were going to say it was great. Loved the video either way. I just thought that part was funny. Lol, thanks for sharing. ❤
@WendyCranford lol I know none are perfect, but it was super funny that as soon as you said the word consistent it skipped lol It was just funny to me lol. I love a good smooth pen.
I cut the little loops off of the charms and glue them onto my cards. The bee's look especially adorable on a flower card and they add that little something extra to the card. 😁

This is what I was gonna say! ♥️❤️💖
Sorry. Just would love to see your cards. Must be very interesting.
Charms would be cute added to a bookmark tag. Christmas ones added to your gift tags.
Adding the charms to gift bags or tags could be a cute signature, just as giving them for purchases was. Thanks for sharing.
Make bookmarks and add the charms to them. I make stitch markers with my charms.
On my scrapbook albums, mini-albums, & junk journals, on the very top of the spine I make a hole (cropodile) with an eyelet. I assemble a keychain-like clasp with several charms that relate to the album or just ones I love, and then attach the clasp through the eyelet.
Another idea for the charms is to add them to the hole in a handmade bookmark! That would make a lovely addition to a card/gift. 🙂
My pink AGT Gun is my favorite, I can't live without it. Don't get rid of your charms girl, you never know when you will need them. hugs Terrie
Like the clear envelopes for storing non stampin up stamps/dies. Charms are a great idea.
I make bows for hair and those would be really cute as a centerpiece. I use centerpieces on my bows sometimes.
I used to do albums so charms would go on them. I have several left (I'm hoping less than you!) and now I glue them to cards, either with Glossy Accents or with foam squares. Love all your charms. I add them to my card. Just tie one on with some jute or colorful bakers twine.
I love the white pens

Add the charms to zips on your handbags , it works well for me as some of my bags have lots of pockets so different charms for different pockets .
Love this idea!!!
This charms would look super cute swinging in the center of a shaker card.

I heart my ATG gun. I been using them since 2016. I have two of each in 1/2in and 1/4in. They are a must and I cant card craft without them.
Make cute laminated book markers. At the top, punch a small hole and add the charm.
I buy Zots from Amazon, my go-to adhesive.
I concur...the tape gun is the best. I bought a second one a few years ago at a cheap price. I feel like it was going to be discontinued and that's why I bought it. But I don't remember 100%.
Thank you for sharing your finds! I am on my way now to add a few of these to my cart. 😊

Tape Jungle seems to have the best price on ATG gun refill rolls.
@NinaDisco thanks. I'll check them out.

use the charms to make wine glass markers. Use wire - or buy the wire already bent into the shape for wine glass stems.
I also have the white gel pens and love them!!
Love the label maker!! Has made all the difference in my craft room.
Charms are great if you sew bags. Also add them to gift tags, which is fun!
😊They would make great add ons to dangles
I use charms on my greeting cards and book marks!
Use charms to decorate trees, ornaments, packages and, sweaters on cards
Thank you for sharing your experience on the items from Amazon. I shop Michael’s too!! ❤ all of them!!
If you make folio ‘s you can make like a charm dangle to hang from the spine of the folio. Just adds a little pizazz.

Very informative, 1st time here, much enjoyed❤.
If you make journals or scrapbooks you can hang them off the binder... you can hang them on bookmarks... add them to tassles... 😊
I have two tape guns. I love them. 1 for home and 1 to take to retreats
The charms are great on beaded pens…which are easy to make.
Make wine glass charms out of them for gifts!
Hi, I love he charms & totally intersted in purchasing!
Make bookmarks and hang them off the cord or tassel. Looks lovely. Thanks for sharing.
You could use your charms on bookmarks or gift tags, or in happy mail.❤
Defo nice on wind glasses, so you know which one is yours
Maybe you could do a charm swap…so you could get a few diff charms, and someone else could also. I’d be interested in doing that. 😊
The charms would be great on bookmarks. Thanks for sharing your favs. ❤️🇨🇦
Oh so smart ❤
I do have several of the atg guns, I keep them loaded when I’m crafting. BTW, those guns come in yellow on amazon.
Where did you get the tray that your charms are in?
Where is the link for the tapes for the glider?
I tie the charms on string and put on cards
Hello from Idaho good Wednesday evening...like seeing your ideas
Make stamped bookmarks and add charms through hole at the top.

I use a lot of charms on cards, tear and tape to apply .
Charms can be used on bracelets. Kids would love a bracelet with those cute charms.
IT,S EASY TO MAKE EARINGS OUT OF THEM HUGS AND KISES LOVE TINA FROM CALIFORNIA ❤❤❤
You can make your eggs with the charms.😊
Wendy, use the charms on bookmarks. Thanks for the great video.
Love all of these
The tape gun has a code on Michael's site for 35% off! Great deal!
Great video for info, thanks Wendy 😊
Wendy I have a question about the scotch tape roller. I have had 2 in the past and thrown them away because I could never reload the gun to work. Do you have a video showing how to put the refill in? I know this is probably a dumb question but I had to ask. Thank you
Use charms for earrings
Wendy, I would love to purchase a some of your charms.
Your charms could put some on journal planners keys chain
Could you add your favorite paper snips to “favorites”.
How did you make the charm thingy?
Use charms to incorporate into your cards, journals, bookmarks, donate to primary schools for their arts craft classes… ❤️
Loved this, thank you! At the end with the bonus item/charms... does the little tray have a lid, that the charms are in??
Some people use them on their paper clip bookmarks.
Love the charms. I make earrings and bookmarks with charms. If you decide to sell them I would be interested. Thanks for sharing.
Make earrings and add to bracelets. Glue topper dangles. Tyfs
Can you demo how to load that darn tape runner?

I hate that adhesive gun! I threw mine away because the tape was difficult to load and stay in place.
I use charms on spinner cards
The label maker sounds intriguing. I already have 2.... do you have a video where you review it?
I love the charms. I may just be missing it, but I can’t find the link to where you purchase them.
If you go to craft fairs you could sell the charms there.
What is the name of the pens you liked besides TUL? The links don't let me open up unless I sign up for a free trial. Thanks - loving your video!
I would buy them from you. How much? Lots of ideas in my head!
I didn’t see the link for the charms. Help please.
Use your charms and make earrings, and sell them at a local bazaar to help Macie with college expenses
Maybe you can get "critter charms," and get Macey involved in the crafty/critter goodness. Anything "bee, chicken, or owl" is very trendy.
So smart
Use the charms on your tennis shoes or crocks
Wendy I couldn’t find any of the pens you showed.
I’m curious, do you find your cards come apart after sometime when you use the 3m tape gun? I’ve used their brand tape as well as the brand you suggested. My cards do fall apart.
So far I’ve not had that happen
Don’t see the list of supplies at amazon, like the envelopes, thanks.
I don’t see refills for adhesive gun in your Amazon list?
There’s no link for the tape gun refills, or at least I couldn’t fine one.
It is a link to all the things she shared.
Great stuff. Where do you get the black elastics for the charms ?
All linked in the description
@@WendyCranfordthank you!
What cardstock do you use for your card bases now instead of SU?
When I bought my tape gun, it was only $17- granted it was a few years ago.
I use Neenah Solar White and still have left over SU
@@WendyCranford Thank you!
