Wheelchair Frustrations, Starting New Medication And Skincare Routine | 7 Weeks Old Vlog

- Elise is 7 weeks old, so I thought I'd start a weekly vlog to share what we get up to! In week 7, we stopped breastfeeding, I started new medication, my wheelchair fault was looked at again and I sustained a wheelchair related injury.

Really enjoyed the vlog! Elise is so adorable! I really do hope the castor issue on your chair gets sorted soon! I can't believe it's been going on for so long! Superdrug Simply range is fab! I also really like their Glycolic Overnight Peel from the other range. Arghh the man who shouted at you - WTH?! Inappropriate to start with, let alone after falling! I'm very glad you are both okay though!!!! x

Thank you so much Niamh! I'm so glad you enjoyed it. We're besotted with Elise! She's so lovely. Ugh! I feel like I'm hitting my had against a brick wall with my chair. The thing that frustrates me the most is how I've been gas lighted by wheelchair service. Thankfully, not the repair team - they've been wonderful and done as much as they possibly can. Ooo... thanks for the recommendation! I'll keep an eye out for that. We have so many lovely people in my area, it's a shame that there are a very small minority who are rude and so inappropriate! I'm loving my new hair - can't wait for this week's vlog to be ready for you to see. Xx
I've not heard great things about most wheelchair services, especially my local one which is a shame! I know they are under funded etc, but even a bit of communication is so helpful, even if they can't do anything about it! Just saw your hair on Insta and I love it! Looking forward to the next vlog! xx
Me either! I'm extremely lucky that mine have funded an active user chair. But in terms of knowledge, the majority of staff are seriously lacking! I'm sorry your local one aren't very good either. I completely agree - even if they aren't able to provide a wheelchair, they should be able to advise on the right thing to get. That side of things I had to do myself, as many others do too. Xx
Also, I swapped from Ivabradine to Bisopralol when I was pregnant and it was awful to begin with! My mum had similar with on propranolol, fingers crossed it helps you! It’s helped my mums POTs considerably!
I'm so glad it helped you're Mum's PoTS! My consultant initially suggested Bisopralol, but changed to Propalonol when she found out I've been on it previously. It was the first thing I ever took for my migraine, so she was hoping that it would have a dual effect. Plus, it's a fairly safe bet that I wouldn't react badly too it (though I was 14-18 years old when I was on it). Xx
