I still don’t understand which connector you used between the Bovee 1000 30 pin, and the connectors that vaquero comes with. could you please post a link to that specific connector ?.
It is the Kawasaki iPod adapter. The unfortunate thing about them is that Kawasaki doesn’t make them anymore. I know a guy on one of the Vaquero Facebook groups was making them. Not sure if he still is. I can’t tell you exactly which group or his name due to the fact I am no longer on those groups. You might want to try EBay for a used one. Thanks for watching and stay safe

Unfortunately Kawasaki stopped making them a number of years ago. But if you jump in the Vaquero groups on Facebook, there was someone who was making them. Either that or keep checking eBay for a used one. Thanks for watching
How does the connector work? Does it connect to a station? Does it use its own thing?
It works on Bluetooth through the iPod connector that is a separate purchase. Unfortunately Kawasaki stopped making them some time ago. Thanks for watching and stay safe

Thanks for the video this helped me pull the trigger on it. I am using it with an android (Galaxy S8) and it works great the only thing that doesn't work is displaying what song is playing mine just says 123 on it but the handle bar controls work and it plays perfectly so for me its not a big deal. I think the reason it displays what song for you is because your using apple hope this helps for anyone wondering about andriod

I finally pulled the trigger and bought a new 2020 Vaquero last Saturday, and the lack of Bluetooth was something I immediately noticed.
Kawasaki really is missing out big on offering upgrades, and the 30-pin(!) iPod kit is outdated and would be better if it also charged your iPod while playing.
Anyway, I plan on getting the iPod kit and the Bovee 100 Bluetooth device soon.
Just curious, what model iPhone are you using, and how do you keep it charged if pout on a day long ride?

Good luck with the bike!!! Welcome to the club. I’ll be honest with you....your best best is to replace head unit and use that for Bluetooth. Kawasaki sells a power port that would go right under right side glovebox for power. Thanks for watching

In all honesty I have only ever used Spotify with it…but I don’t see why you can’t play anything through it that comes from a connected device. Thanks for watching…hope this answer helps ya out some!!

You need to get the iPod adapter, unfortunately Kawasaki stopped making them some time ago. You can find them used some times or there is someone who was making them and selling them on one of the Vaquero Facebook groups. Good luck!!

I bought an aftermarket 12v charger BUT the ends came with loop ends. When I checked the connector inside the compartment the connector were round bullet shaped. I'm going to purchase the OEM for this bike.
The OEM is a little bit more expensive but it is a simple install. I have done an install video on the OEM power port. Thanks for watching
i have a 2015 voyager and i don't have the 30 pin connector for the bovee 1000 i bought, any suggestions
There are a couple things you can do. You can try to find the 30 pin used on EBay….but they are getting harder to find and more expensive. There are a couple different hacks you can find on some of the Vaquero/Voyager Facebook groups. But personally, I would do the same thing I have done and just change out the head unit. one thing that no one seems to mention off the hop, does the Vaquero come with the ipod adapter installed from the factory? this would solve so many issues for me, as i'm looking at getting a Vaquero for my next bike and not one video talks about if the ipod connection comes standard. lol. thanks!
Sadly no the iPod adapter does no come with the Vaquero. And even sadder is Kawasaki doesn’t even sell them anymore. When I bought my bike I was able to order it and was installed before I took delivery of the bike. There are still some people that have their adapters on some Vaquero groups on FB. Hi mate we brought the bovee 1000 but cannot find the cable to plug it into the bike could u let me know where you got yours and I’ll see if they post to Australia
I bought mine from the dealer when I took delivery of the motorcycle back in 2017. Unfortunately Kawasaki isn’t making these anymore. My best advice to try to get an iPod connector for the Bovee is to either look at EBay or try one of the Vaquero groups on Facebook. Occasionally you will get lucky and find one. Thanks for the video. I just bought a 2020 Vaquero, and it has IEC connectors in the front left storage area. How did you convert the IEC connectors in order to connect to the Bovee connector?
Thanks for watching. You need the 30 pin iPod adapter that Kawasaki sells(or eBay) if ya can find one. And that connects right to the Bovee. I do hear in the Vaquero groups that they are becoming harder and harder to come by.

Yes the iPod connector from Kawasaki fits the Bovee. The unfortunate thing is that they stopped making them and are really hard to find. You can find them from time to time on EBay. @@GoofyBastard hey I have two connectors when I open the door to the small compartment. Then when I remove the 3 screws and get behind the compartment there is one white connector. Is that the connector I plug my Bovee into? Not sure which connector to plug into
@@WDStock_man the 2 plugs inside the left glove box are what the Kawasaki iPod adapter plugs into. And the Kawasaki iPod adapter is what plugs into the Bovee.

@@WDStock_man you’re quite welcome. If you got to the Facebook group Vulcan Vaquero Owners. There is a guy who makes them and sells them. That’ll probably be the best bet to get an iPod adapter
