Thank you for this video. I recently finished the installation process and everything works except for my volume button. regardless of volume up, or volume down both just turn the speakers up. I've checked my grounds, and tried reinstalling it multiple times but it's the same thing. Everything works except for my volume down it will not work. Any ideas?
Where did you send the ground for your amplifier above the aftermarket radio did you send that back to the Motorcycle grounding stud or did you ground that out in the faring and you think I could do that on my bike or should I take it all the way back to the ground stud
Can you skip and go back on track on the handle controls. Mine only go fwd to the next track. I can’t go back to the same track unless I use the Kenwood
Pete4597 I have Mute volume on track fwd I guess the shop missed something. Also do you have a humming after you upgrade your stereo? It only happens when I’m just about to stop and not accelerating. It kind like the sound you hear when you have sub and u hear it over from vehicle.
Maurice Golston no I don't have any humming. I have a sub in 1 of my bags as well. Sometimes when I first start the bike I get 2 clicks through the speakers. I think one of the amps is turning on before the stereo. I have to track it down this spring when it's out of storage.
go and do a more intricate install of the resistors and the ground.
what resistors did u use
Do not buy the single den adapter from engineered adapters. Quality is bad instead buy off of Etsy less money and 20 times better.

It's just a Kenwood media player, no cd player and I have an ipod plugged into it.

I grounded it to the frame under the fairing.
What resistor value do you use for the wires ?

What amp are each resistor?
100 and 300
do the resistor values make any difference?
vegadealer I don't think so as long as they are different. I do have the recommended resistors for each wire if you need it.

When connecting the resistors to the recommended wires that came with the pack does it mater the color codes on the resitors
