Rip Nightbird. I write this with tears in my eyes. She was such a pure beautiful soul and she gave us all a glimpse into what a true angel on earth might look like. She has been released from the pain of this life and she is gracing the heavens with her lovely voice. Thank you for giving me a little hope back for humankind. Godspeed.

You can tell she knows she is gonna dying and she is trying to accept the fact but it’s hard. Day after day hope rises into her but just to rip her more and more. She looks around the people she loves and she wishes they would know how she is gonna miss them.

I’m a 62 year old married man with adult children and I am crying my eyes out right now because like I said, I didn’t know I needed to hear this song. I’ve been a chronic pain patient for 20 years and feel like I’m at the end of my rope. This song has lifted me up in ways I can’t express with words. Thank you doesn’t seem like enough, but that’s all I’ve got. Thank you.
