Ventriloquism is hard enough, but to sing is another level of talent. Darci is simply extraordinary.
Not in any way disparaging her, but I do feel she is probably on the spectrum. Her story sounds familiar (as in i picked up ventriloquism at the same age for the same reason even) and she displays the kind of skill level at such a young age she almost has to be neiroduvergent

It’s amazing when it comes to the bond of a ventriloquist and their puppet. When her mom came out to hug her, not only did she hug her daughter but she hugged Petunia too 😢

Darci is one of the most awesome acts I've ever seen on any talent show, for her to have gotten the buzzer and then won was what made this more special
Pure talent -- crazy how after that high note , she still had air supply left to add a little chuckle at the end.. that's nuts. Way to go young lady!

I'm so glad this video showed the initial interview with Darci before her audition performance. She had so much personality and spoke so well for such a young lady. Her performance was undoubtedly of epic proportions!

To those not aware...
For a ventriloquist, the "B" and "P" sounds are the most difficult say well without any lip movement.
Darci says those sounds flawlessly
"B" is like d and "p" is like t but it takes practice to make the d's and t's to sound like their respective letters.

@StaticBlaster actually thats a lot easier to do. with letters like 'd' and 't', its all about tongue placement while you talk. for 'b' and 'p' you need your lips to actually touch to make the sound, which defeats the purpose of ventriloquism for the most part
I saw her live when that happened!. I cried my eyes out then along with her and ever since then I still do like just now every time I see this or any of her videos. She’s no doubt a “Generational All-American Star”…. ☺️🙏🏻♥️👱🏻♀️🐰🐭🇺🇸👍🏻

@@laurendobinson4362 It's an emphatic non-superstitious word to emphasize a point that is being mentioned whether if it's positive or negative. In this case, of course it's positive.
Singing requires mouth shape and diction. To sing that well while not moving your lips is astonishing.
It's not even just that. She's making everyone laugh at the same time.

And now when you look at Darci Lynne in 2023, you see a beautiful young woman who can sing really well but whose ventriloquism reminds me of another beautiful young woman of more than a few years ago... Shari Lewis (with HER friend Lambchop). Whether she knows about Shari or not, she is certainly a candidate as Shari's heir apparent. Go, Darci Lynne, ... go for the stars.
