As for why Twilight doesn't realize, despite being a really good spy, that Anya is a mind reader. He doesn't deal with kids normally, & specifically got "a smart one" from the orphanage. The fact that she is kinda weird does, in his mind, explain why he doesn't realize Anya is reading minds. Anya doesn't tell Twilight because she doesn't want her "family" to return her - not realizing that reading minds is a skill that would be helpful. The "Mother" has a similar lifestyle. All 3 of them want to work together as a family, and can act well in public, but all have reasons why they don't tell or notice the other persons oddities.
Also... why would he assume that mind-reading is real? Despite exaggerated super-strength, there is nothing supernatural in this world. Anya could actually get away with a lot by saying she's good at reading emotions.

Never once has it even crossed my mind that he could be reading it before watching this show lol And even then, it's not like I think he reading my mind, but it puts into perspective how unlikely it is to assume anyone is reading minds. On the flour, that was one of the best ways to level a playing field I've seen for a while. Mostly because I've been in my city for a couple decades now, and about 15 years ago, a flour mill here caught a spark and exploded. Which is how I learned about "flour dust explosions." Because flour is a flammable substance, if you have air full of flour particles, a spark is a very dangerous things, and guns produce flame when they fire. Thus, not only did he obstruct the vision of the people, he made it so that they couldn't use their guns.

If you want to see the sad things that would happen to a child with telepathy you could watch a little of Kotoura-san (The Troubled Life of Miss Kotoura). Very young children don't have filters and say whatever pops into their heads. This would include the secrets that their parents want to keep from each other. LIke who they're cheating with. Imagine feeling the hate from your mother for breaking up the marriage when you have no idea that what you are doing is wrong.

An Adventure level game with character species evolution and is a Comedy. This one shows events in a timeline that is not straight. Another way to explain is to say this... The main character is obviously been turned into a spider. So it makes sense when most of the time the story is either about her or from her perspective. But it also shows the lives of the rest of her classroom who also reincarnated at the same time except instead of into a spider monster they are human or have to at least grow up at the speed of a human. Thus the story is about everyone's growth in this new world happening at different times due to the fact that a bunch of them are babies at the same time that a spider is talking to an administrator of the world (God). "Twin Star Exorcists" is a good one and is an action/comedy that tries to be a romance.

One thing I hope is that the story finishes in a satisfying manner. Many times, a series starts out strong and gains a massive following only to end poorly. Even if SpyxFamily isn't without blemishes, I hope that it concludes in a decent manner so people are left with a positive note.

Small children blurt out and talk about random things all the time, and to an adult who avoid kids, it can seem to come out of nowhere. Plus, the guy said Anya didn't talk much. It could also be ego on Twilight's end. If you're a spy it's your job to know everything, and not knowing telepaths exist would be a bigger surprise than normal. Can't wait to see more!

You guys are way over-estimating someone's ability to figure out that a child can literally read minds. I'd think the kid is weird, sure, but I think all kids are weird; so long as the kid doesn't just come out and say it it'd be easy to find excuses to justify their behavior since as far as we all know, reading minds is impossible.

Last but not least, Anya is so precious! She was adorable in the manga but the way they brought her to animation has me giggling and screaming of cuteness, can't wait for her mischievousness to come out!

I cannot put into words how annoying Lupa has gotten over the years. He seems like a very emotionally unstable and fragile person now. Honestly I just watch these for Roshi.
