As funny as Brok and Sindri are, I can't forget that Brok was ready to go to literal Hell in order to save Atreus' life even though he can barely walk, and Sindri was straight up ready to get into a fist fight with fucking KRATOS when he thought he hurt Faye.
Nothing but mad respect for these kings.

@@markhunter3533 No, Sindri straight up stepped in front of Kratos and put up his dukes when he thought that he might've hurt Faye to get the Leviathan Axe. It's one of my favorite moments in the entire game; this neurotic, germaphobic mess of a scared little dwarf squares up with the fucking GHOST OF SPARTA because he's scared for his friend. It's a beautiful scene imo.

Funny to consider that Atreus was never around other people, so he sees his parent's strength as normal

When Kratos was shaking off Sindri's claims that he killed the dragon to save him, I could sense how happy the old man K was on the inside when he said 'the dragon was simply in our path, nothing more'. He probably loved killing that thing.

Well I think Brok had the idea of upgrading it even before the idea of getting back at his brother
It’s actually an in game mechanic, you can talk up one brothers work and the other will upgrade for free, you still have to supply the materials but it’s a fun way to earn a quick freebie.

What I find most interesting about Brok and Sindri, is that they made Mjolnir for Thor and then when he went all despotic and genocidal, they crafted the Leviathan Axe for Faye to counter it. It makes me thing that Mjolnir and the Leviathan are equal in strength (like Harry and Voldemort's wands) and we'll see that play out in God of War: Ragnarok

@@inl2024 It's possible, given the mural we saw that possibly depicted Kratos' death at the end of God of War. But I wouldn't worry too much about that, since Kratos has died before in the GOW series. Hell it might be interesting to see a game from the perspective of Atreus and see if he has powers like Kratos or even what his powers are, given we know he is Loki

Gotta love the end when Mimir suggests Kratos and Atreus have that journey to Jotunheim just the two of them, Kratos brings up the concern of a third party finding Mimir's head and the Huldra Brothers immediately show up. You can see the gears turning in Kratos' mind just before Mimir protests about being left with the Brothers.

There may be a day when Kratos, Atreus, Brok, Sindri, and Mimir will have to leave these lands. I hope they all remain together when that day comes.

Mimir is not evil, is always giving Atreus advice as well as he is the reason Atreus was able to call upon the World Serpent and his stories are too good.
Atreus is not going to die because he is well trained, master at the bow, and is getting stronger and stronger.

I felt so bad for Sindri when Atreus was in his dark stage... He was so hurt by Atreus' outburst...
Speaking of which, do we know why Atreus went like that? It doesn't quite seem like he just went and started being a douche... Like, when they get stuck in Helheim, he doesn't even seem to remember killing Modi. Is it the suddenness of his Godhood being released? Like, how he was sick when he didn't know he was a God, so suddenly having that knowledge brought out his darker side?
I mean, think about every other god in the series. Most of them are douches in some sense of the word. Combine this with the fact that a lot of kids, especially teens which Atreus seems to almost be, act like they're immortal just because they haven't lived long enough to know any real damage. Think of Icarus. A lot of gods are arrogant for similar reasons, so suddenly finding out you're at least partially immortal, have never had any serious injury or harm befall you (obviously because of your own strength and not your insanely strong father), and probably hormonal as all hell, the arrogance will probably go to a kids head real quick. He was going through a lot, and then suddenly he had a "reason" to take it all out on others and look down on them.
Do you remember that Atreus drank the lemnian wine which is from Kratos hometown? Some says that wine from the past made people lose their mind or sense for awhile. I think that is the reason why Atreus acted like that.

This is by far the best interpretation of these two that I have ever seen or heard. Especially the way their magic works. *improving axe by hitting a single time with a hammer* just brilliant
Fun fact: when Atreus shouts at Sindri, Sindri will say 'little armour for little people' the next time you ask him to forge you something.

Actually, turns out it was the latter.
Talk to Sindri in Niflheim, and after Atreus asks an innocent but insensitive question, Sindri tells us that Brok prefers to work with metals bare-handed, so he can "hear what they want to be". After working bare-handed with silver for so long, Brok ended up getting argyria. Though to get that blue, he'd probably have to have drank a lot of colloidal silver potions like the dwarven equivalent of Paul "Papa Smurf" Karason.
Consider that mythological dwarves have vast life spans and do not stop working I think he maybe could have absorbed enough silver through enough means to turn blue.
Actually he turned blue because he was killed by a spider when they were forging mjolnir and sindri revived him in the river of souls in alfenheim

All these cutscenes stories are addictive. I hope I get to play the game someday. I Got the Beat 1 2 and 3 and my PS3 broke befor I could get God of War Ascension. By far one of the best Series games. I'd even like to get a PSP to play all the GOW games on that.
