- In this video you will see how to replace BALL BEARINGS in the REEL's KNOB. Nothing ground-breaking here really but a simple little tip which will make your reel last longer and get better feeling whilst using it! It's cheap improvement as well!

I got these for my shimano vanford 2500, Daiwa 2500D and 1000D. I found the vanford already have metal but the 2 Daiwas worked out great after replacing the blk plastic ones, thanks!!

Interesting, thank you Andrew Most people wouldn't have gone to that length they would just replace the knob and tiny plastic bearing sleeves when they wear out if at all.
I was thinking more or less the same as you, but it makes difference whilst lure fishing to have proper BB in the knob. At least for me.

Just a heads up,the new Diawa legalis LT you can’t change the handle knob bushings. No screw to remove the knob,Only option would be custom handle i guess.

Hi Andrew, just bought a Daiwa prorex LT 2000, like it but i feel like it's too much play in the handle and in the knob (no screw attached) so can't put an extra washer.
Do you know if i can find a better handle that fits this reel on Ali ?

thry new fuego you cant switch to a bearing in the handle that was a down grade :(

I personally purchased 2 Fuegos myself and in my opinion they are originals. At least I can't tell the difference compared to ones in the UK stores.
