Yes I am a citizen of America 🇺🇸 and I was really waiting for this video
Thank you for the informative video!
3:38 One thing was constantly bothering me was your comparison between NRI vs Indian citizens. NRIs are also Indian Citizens, they are non-resident citizens of India. In my opinion this comparison should be between NRIs Vs Resident Indians
What you say is true. But NRIs also include OCI or PIO holders. People who had to give up Indian citizenship because they hold a different citizenship or their kids who were born outside of India and are not Indian citizen. I think PIO are defunct now.
The most useful, simple and concise video of all that I have seen. Thank you. +1 on subs 🙏🙏
I see u first time in Sandeep Maheshwari sir show.....u r really a great personality sir 🥰
Sir as NRI I am starting my stocks journey now. As an early 40 yr old who always thought it is too risky .I listened to u n some other finance teachers in TH-cam n starting my journey thru Zerodha soon ..this is apt topic for me 🤓 thank you for building people's confidence and engaging them to give it a shot. Der se but atleast start yea. Do well 👍🏻
I have your book too, reading now. Very thoughtful 💐
Which Bank account you have NRE or NRO
Hi, I just saw your comment, hows your trading going so far?
@@Lynal_M sir I have NRE & NRO Account in hdfc bank. But I always afraid from trading and by and sale share.

Nice information Ankur. Something for NRIs as well😀
Hi Ankur, this is Argo from Australia. Wish you a happy & prosperous new year. Big follower of your videos & books :D
In this video (around 5'4") you said "NRI can't do trading and only buy shares for delivery". But I think with non-PIS account we can do.
It would be great if you do one more video on NRI intraday/F&O trading and most importantly on the taxation 'please' :D
Cheers!
Thanks for answering my query 🙏🙏
This video has answered so many of my questions !!!
Thankyou so much !
Also, it would be very helpful if you could make a detailed video on the taxation on an NRI (for stocks, real estate bonds etc)
It would be really very helpful for me !
Best Regards
Gabriel HARRISON
Yes please
Amazing !!!!
With NRO account , repatriation is quite difficult. With NRE account, the interest rates are tax free which are quite good for Fixed Deposits. Ideal for emergency funds.
Hi Ankur sir,
Fantastic session with Sandeep Maheshwari Sir, it was not only for Entrepreneur but also solutions related to life.
Thankyou sir for the video and valuble session.

Hi ,
I was about to comment on your video yesterday, requesting to make a video on how NRI can invest in Indian market specially SIP, and this Morning saw your video this video..Thank you so much.
Appreciate your efforts and great content.
Thnks sir this type of video I want
Great update. Watching from usa
Hyy Ankur, great video🙌🙌... I am a believe of long term investing and I want to know, should I worry about currency exchange rate as if india becomes export oriented country then it would better for india to devalue rupee. It will impact my rate of returns. So, what is your view on that?
Best explanation thanks
Sir aap yakin nahi karuge aye topic ke liye bhaut din se wait kar rah taa
Superb!!!!
Thanks for making this video
सर आपकी मैंने do epic shit हिन्दी m padi। ।।
My dear you solved most of my queries in one go.Thankyou Warikoo.I have few more left. Can I ask?
Hi ankur , great video . But you forgot to mention about KYC. That’s most important in order to get dmat account. If a NRI is not in india then it can be little tough. He might need to go to local Indian embassy to get documents attested .
It is not diffcult if you do online KYC provided your digilocker account is setup and aadhar is linked with PAN and your mobile number
Hello Sir,
thanks for the detailed information. I want to know one thing "can we convert nonPIS to a normal resident Demat account in future?"
Hello, it would be great if you could make a video for NRI investment through SIP/Mutual funds. Thankyou
Dear Friend, Check your facts. PINS or Portfolio Investment (NRI) Scheme is another name for the Portfolio Investment Scheme (PIS) Account. This particular PINS Account for NRI enables them to buy and sell shares and convertible debentures of an Indian firm on a recognized stock exchange. For both NRE and NRO accounts, you can have PINS and NON-PINS accounts.
Hello sir,
Your videos has made me think in completely new dimension Thank you, I wish I would have known this a bit early. But its never late.
Really I wish you make a video around this topic and finally it is, thanks again.
Zerodha is not reachable as we learned from you, i even mailed them, I want to open demat account using PIS account.
The response I got it is completely offline and you need to send documents to our banglore office.
If you have please redirect us to the link where we can process everything online.
Else I need wait a bit longer to do offline process.
Appreciate your topics and style of explanation it looks someones we knew is talking to us.
Thanks
Currently putting enough in Bitcoin investment. I've made over $72k now, on track to reach my savings goal of $100k before the end of the year
Bitcoin is a good investment anyone can think of doing especially with the current rise. You just need a professional guide to help you manage your trade
As a beginner investor, it is essential for you to have a mentor to keep you accountable, Myself I'm guided by Miss Nora , a widely known Bitcoin trader
wow, you too know her,? I'm surprised that this name is been mentioned here. I thought I'm the only one trading with her. I got in touched with her early this year and I'm actually marveling over the great achievement already.
Actually being a newbie in Bitcoin investment and trading is quite discouraging but since I met Miss Nora, She has really been careful in handling my trade. I invested $4k and she traded it in few weeks making close to $40,095 I encourage newbies to trade with her, the profit are secured and directly sent to your Bitcoin wallet account
I'm interested. Please how do I connect with her?
One important caveat . NRIs from US/Canada are not eligible to invest via coin. You should point that out in a subsequent video. I just went through the account opening process, to find that I can’t buy MFs via coin.
Perfect point….👍👍
Great video, thanks!! I am thinking the partner banks you mention are partners to Zerodha, there are several others which offer PIS accounts. SBI for one, but is quite complicated and archaic, given their platforms, I must say.
Hello Ankur, even though I usually don't comment much on social media, today I feel compelled to do so. I recently went through your book, "Do epic Shit," and to be honest, I read the entire book in one sitting. Despite not being particularly studious or a book enthusiast, this is the first book I've ever finished in one go. Your book has provided me with valuable insights, and I'm actively incorporating the points into my life. and indeed your video is very helpful. Thank you.
I'm from Bangladesh
I'm Hare because of sandeep maheshwari
I just finished watching your video on Sundeep's channel then I came to your channel
As per the latest rule for NRI. In ITR 2 Form -schedule A ,you will have to say YES for the question of are you FII/DII and provide SEBI Regn No. as investor.
Very well explain 👍👍
Great video ❤
thanks for the video
@warikoo Hello, Nice detailed video from your end and very thankful for that.
Would you shed some light with the couple of queries regarding Demat account and Tax return.
Question 1: Can NRI open an NON PIS account with the help of NRE so, in future there is a window open if one wants to sell the short term or long term invested stocks and transferred earned money in respected foreign currency or transfer it to NRO?
Question 2: How tax return work for NRE + NON PIS account combination? Do NRI only need to file tax in India only or have to show at both countries? What is the legal stand on it? Is there any such thing double tax avoidance provision?
Not an NRI but still watched the entire video for Ankur :)
Good timing
Love your videos @Warikoo, I'm an NRI planning to start investing in India and eventually return probably as non-India using OCI. Am I allowed to invest in indexes like Nifty50 large/medium/small? I have investing experience in the US but not in India but I want to start safely with indexes.
If we can't trade in F&O then how some TH-camr's living in Dubai are do trading???
Better late than never.... excellent video!
Can you recommend apps or portal like indmoney, smallcase etc that NRIs can use as most apps ask for Indian mobile number to send OTP. Keep it up 👍
Hi Sir,
what is your point of view towards US recession, What is the right time to enter in the current recession. It will be really great if you make some videos on US recession.
Thanks in advance..
sir if possible kindly make one video on mutual funds with dividends
Make a video on index mutual fund investing in detail
Sir, first time I watched the informative video. Many thanks to you. I have one question. If I open a non pis account and i exit from foreign country to India, then my trading will be continued an non pis account or any another
Hi Ankur, do you see any downside for an NRI to use Indmoney to invest in mutual funds and stocks? Its much less complicated to open an account in Indmoney as compared to Zerodha.
I already have an NRE account so I can only open a PIS account with Zerodha. Would yoy know what are downsides of PIS and if they can be a problem at some point?
And thank you for your videos around personal finance management. Like many others, I wish I had known about your videos before. I have always wanted to invest but didnt know how to start. I have been working for 10 years and now (hopefully), I’ll start something. You have given me a lot of confidence to start, so thank you very much 🙏🏽
Great sir
That tax deduction on NRO account interests can be upto 30%. On NRE PIS accounts, there are some bank charges involved on for each purchase and sell, and zerodha charges you 200 per purchase compared to 100. Thats what I could gather till now. Can you please suggest if NRE PIS accounts are relatively better. I am a newbie and dont have much idea. Learning the curve slowly. Opening PIS account costs Rs1000 and then annual fee of Rs 1000 to maintain it. I believe if one is playing a big game in terms of money invested NRE sounds good to me whereas 30% tax deduction on NRO interests seems reasonable initially to learn the game of investing.
Looking forward for your opinion!
ek video kamethi me investment ke liye or usse milne Vala return or fd equity gold se comparison pr banaiyega please
Thanks for all the Info. Can NRI option writers trade using NRO, non-PIS account in Zerodha?
Dear AnkurJi,
I wanted to express my gratitude for providing such valuable information. I would greatly appreciate it if you could assist me in addressing the following two questions:
1. Is it possible for NRI's to invest in SIPs after opening a Zerodha account?
2. Is there a process for transferring my existing SIP account from PaytmMoney to Zerodha? If so, could you please provide me with the necessary documentation or links?
Thank you very much, and I look forward to receiving your response and guidance.
Please make a detailed video on SLBM 🙏
Sir pls make a video on your hour tracking in excel and how you do it , as you discussed in Sandeep Maheshwari sir session 😊 Can you tell the best way to document my day hourly
Could you please throw some light on the investment techniques for an OCI (Overseas Citizen of India)?!
I was scrolling through comments, many of us confuse between residential status and Citizenship.
Sir Ek video anxiety and depression se kese deal kare ispe bhi banaye…maine Suna h aap apne subscribers ka kehna maante h😅❤…
Hey sir all right? How r u? Splendid job sir
Thank you...
Excellent explanation. However, I have few questions. I have account with ICICI Direct and they have given me four account PINS NRE, PINS NRO, non-PINS NRE and non-PINS NRO accounts. What's the difference between these. First, two are very clear that we can invest Foreign Money and Indian money but what are other two accounts meant for?
Please make a video on how NRIs living in Gulf countries can do Investments in US Stock Market
I am first sir😎
Thanks ankur
Sir, Good Afternoon. Thank you for sharing valuable knowledge always. Kindly guide me I started investing using a combination of a resident saving bank account and a Demat account, but as I became NRI now and changed my same saving bank account into an NRO account, so can I continue investing using the same bank account which is changed to NRO and the same Demat account?
Sir, had a question regarding NRI investment, can you make a video about how as a NRI one can invest without NRE or NRO account with just a savings account.
Thank you for your comment.👆Contact the Whatsapp Line above for more info and advice, I've something new to introduce you to.

Hi Ankur Ji, I am an extreme follower of you & love watching your investment educational videos ... I have a question & need your expert advice.. I am an NRI ( Middle East) & looking forward to investing in US STOCK MARKET. is there a way through IndMONEY ?? Thanks / Vivek
Hi Sir, what about the existing demat account and stocks ? can we convert the existing to PIS account?
Nice Vedio sir.....Thank you
but only one question that what if I have regular bank and zerodha account, than I become a NRI, the process is going to remain the same?
