A little over two months ago, my boyfriend of 2 years broke up with me, stating I had too big codependancy issues and that I wasnt good enough for him anymore. I met Billy during his tour with American Authors, and I can't get enough of his music. This is definitely a favorite of mine.
I am only 19 years old, i first listened to this song when i was 17. I swear this song hits different and it makes more sense everytime another year passes.

I've had my share of love and loss, the dreams make me wake up sad sometimes, and I try not to look back at the past. All I know is that some of those I've loved, well, they're never coming back. Most I will see on the otherside of this life, and as much as I hope all can be saved in the end, I know Gods will be done and not my own. Finding peace in the broken pieces is something I've always struggled with, but I will find that peace on judgement day, praise be to God all mighty.
