Then i was together with her for over 2 years, and i have been loving her and helping her grow self esteem, a long journey together. I was even addicted to bad things, but realised that what means more to me is becoming a good man and having a life with this girl is all i want for my future. A happy life, for two people who met while they were depressed, but fought through the pain of the world, and from ourselves. We have come far and we keep climbing!
I used to listen to this on loop when I was on the process of grieving my relationship with my father (he was emotionally and psychologically abusive to me and my mom). And now that I'm free, and he is out of our lives, I can look back and say "I really closed all the doors till I was the only one controlling" and he deserves it. Safe to say that I can relate and resonate with the lyrics a lot, and the melody is just *Chef's Kiss* PERFECT! Ty for making this, it really helped me get through the hard times

Though you guys may never read this comment I just want to say thank you for writing this lovely song, I was going through some really bad shit this year with my family, it was so bad that I couldn't even cry cuz I that would make me feel like i've completely lost so I had to put up a mask that I was okay, started hiding my pain in novels and poetry, smiled even when it was painful and I kept sinking deeper and deeper until I started losing my ability to chat with my friends like normal and I started feeling isolated and a little bit lonely, then one night I found this song on my TH-cam music and cried properly for the first time in a while, though I wasn't instant I built up courage to talk to my family about how I felt and though it took a while things are a lot better now thank you for this song

It’s crazy how this was a year ago, I started therapy and exercising and lost crazy weight oh and I got into my dream Uni and and found a dream job to chase after, I still have episodes every now and then and I had to cut off most people who I found too toxic for me but I’m still here

Just found this song, and honestly have not stopped playing it. I have to analyze it. I have to figure out every single chord, unpack every lyric, decipher why it sears my mind. You guys did amazing. The lyrics cut through my spine like a water jet, the beat is fantastic and transitions perfectly in what I can only describe as a "macro sound wave of purity". Idk, the entire song is perfect, start to finish. Please let me know if there will ever be a live acoustic version of this.
