This cold is ridiculous. We forgot to crack the faucets in the house and had frozen pipes to add insult to injury went to use our washet and the drain pipe froze. Today its suppose to be warm, and tomorrow, the bottom drops out again. It needs to get warm again.
Yes Sandi, someone left their doors open so we get exposed to some very cold temps. And more snow is falling as well. Sure hope these babies 🐑are all keeping warm enough for you. ❤
Sandi, we use the cheap pool noodles like the kids play with in the pool? Slice them down length wise and they fit all kinds of pipes in the barns to insulate to prevent freezing. Plus the bright colors are nice.
Sandy, I think some of y'all snow made it down to the South. We had 6 to 8 inches of snow where I live here in Louisiana. Temps were in the single digits for a day and we still have one more day of hard freezes. Wishing you warmer days and much love!

🇨🇦Another way to thaw those water bowls. Take a pail of hot water along to the barn across the road, put the towel into the hot water and then wrap it around the bowl and spigot. It lets you do other chores while the bowl thaws 😊

I was thinking she needs a cordless heat gun so she doesn't have to go up and down that stepstool!
Hi, Alaska here, we are in our last day of what resembles anything warming, mon an Tuesday we will dip back down from wow, 37⁰ to-14!! Not looking for that cold. It's been a very unusually warm winter for us in Wasilla! Love your videos, and your sheep!!! Your such a hard worker!
Do you call the sudden change in weather like the do in BC call them a Chinook?
@@joannabanana8431 We have Chinooks east of the Rockies here in Alberta. I didn't know you get Chinooks in BC 💕💕
Happy Friday everyone! Thanks Sandi for a new video, the best way to start the weekend.❤❤❤
Just wanted to take a moment to praise the editing on this one. That song choice at 21:13 was so funny. It sounds so dang cheerful while you're struggling with a giant trash can through snow and freezing temperatures! 🤣
Yes. Canada left their door open and we're feeling down here in South Carolina! I love watching you do all the things. You're such an inspiration to those of us just starting out!
Yes, Canada can take its weather back! I got a solid 4 inches of snow/sleet Tuesday night, and it still hasn't finished melting. I'm in FLORIDA!
Yes Sandi it's extremely cold here in US too! It has snowed in Texas, Louisiana and Florida! Florida got 5 inches and declared a state of emergency! 😄 ❤
Just came home, and Sandie 's on😊❤
Meanwhile we are baking hot in Australia….not that I want snow mind you but cooler would be good. Happy sheeping Sandi😂😂😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🐏🐏🐑🐑
can merge ours in nz if like
Show off!
Thanks Sandi and Erika, I got a cup and light blue hoody! Kicked myself I should have added a blue toque but thems the chances! Didn’t want to lose my cup hahaha :0) I’m grateful for everything that you do. Coreen
14:50 prime example of “Work smarter, not harder!” 😊
Happy Friday to all!! Thanks for all your wonderful videos. I live in Southwestern Pennsylvania. At 3:30 am early this morning it was -17. I'm counting down the days till spring. Thanks for sharing your great videos!!!
Hi,I live not far from Pittsburgh and it was -11 Wednesday morning,it is just crazy and we had measured snow 23 days in a row.
@@lesliegrimm4344
Hi, I live about 50 miles south of Pittsburgh. We have a total of 27 inches of snow. Watching Sandy's videos helps me from not going stir crazy being inside.
And I was whining about our -4. Kudos to those enduring colder temps!🌬️🌨️🥶
I live in Florida and we received 6 inches of snow. Yes I said snow . 😅😅😅😅
Wow, l heard it beat the previous record of 3" of snow, crazy!
You won't find to many up here in Wisconsin that are not laughing at you !
@@mea3665l live 6 hrs drive north of Soo Michigan bet we have way more snow than you Wisconson, lol. We've been ice fishing since mid December. We had 3 days of -40 last week, now its a balmy -10°C (15°F). Orange trees do not take kindly to cold temps! Did you see the video of a bunch of Floridian teenage boys running through the snowy beach to plunge into the Gulf of America? Fun times.
Sandi, I don't know how manage with those temperatures, I have circulation problems my hands would go white and numb. You tackle anything put in front of you.
Stay safe and well, love from Mike. ❤
A couple of other fans have advised using latex gloves (the disposable ones) as a layer under mittens or gloves to keep hands warm. I feel ya! ❄❄💕💕
Sandie I just love watching you on TH-cam.
I have made respect for all you do. Your thought process to save your back so smart.
This cold is ridiculous. We forgot to crack the faucets in the house and had frozen pipes to add insult to injury went to use our washet and the drain pipe froze. Today its suppose to be warm, and tomorrow, the bottom drops out again. It needs to get warm again.
This cold happens Every year I don't understand your suprise
We had drain issues and frozen water lines too, and l live off grid, -40 was our coldest temp. northern Ontario.
Not negative something in my area every year @mea3665 so yes sometimes you forget that you need to run the faucets.
You’ve gotta open those cabinets under the sink …
@@mea3665the last two years where I am near Cobourg haven’t been too bad. This cold is NOT usual.
Always best to use equipment to your advantage,,,,nice to see you adopt the work smarter not harder system. Brilliant!
Yes Sandi, someone left their doors open so we get exposed to some very cold temps. And more snow is falling as well. Sure hope these babies 🐑are all
keeping warm enough for you. ❤
Hope you have some of their lovely wool to keep you warm.
I don’t think Ontario has had a winter like this for a looong time. It’s friggin depressing! Happy to commiserate and thankful for your videos always!
It’s cold in Tennessee but nothing like your weather. Stay warm ! Thank you for sharing this cold vlog with us.❤
Sandi, we use the cheap pool noodles like the kids play with in the pool? Slice them down length wise and they fit all kinds of pipes in the barns to insulate to prevent freezing. Plus the bright colors are nice.
I love the music you choose for background for much of your vlogs. Good work! ❤🎉❤
@ Are you really Sandi Brock? And, if so, what do you want to discuss?
Cool. The red paint shows up on the black wool!❤
Girl I’ve got cabin fever.. this winter has been horrible.., I can’t wait for spring, I can’t imagine what you’re going through…
Sandy, I think some of y'all snow made it down to the South. We had 6 to 8 inches of snow where I live here in Louisiana. Temps were in the single digits for a day and we still have one more day of hard freezes. Wishing you warmer days and much love!
My mother in the panhandle of Florida got 9.8" of snow and it's still on the ground 4 days later! In central Florida where I live it's been in the 30s with 30 to 40 mph winds. It's crazy!
Oh Sandi, YOUU ARE BRILLIANT !! ❤😂thanks for sharing ❤ you are ssooo APPRECIATED !!❤
You know, if you switch over to Fahrenheit, it wouldn't be so cold.😮
😂
Except minus 40, that's where we can agree.
😂😂😂
I feel your pain about the back. I have the same issue and it takes a long time to get things done that's for sure. Definitely have to find new ways of doing what needs to be done.
Oh,my! ❤😮😢
What a challenging week. 😮😢
You handled it all with confidence, poise & ingenuity.❤🎉🎉🎉
You are such an inspiration!!!❤
Luv ya❤🎉😂😊
We got the polar vortex in Western/Upstate NY, too! We haven't had cold like this in YEARS. You are a dynamo to be doing all this work in this weather! What we are capable of when we have no other choice... I hope you get some good cabin time in front of a roaring fire this weekend!
Hi Sandi, Carrisa & pups… the video is 🤗👍🏼 sending warm hugs & pats with love to you all from across the big ocean…
🩵🥶❄️🥶🩵
Like they say, "Necessity is the mother of invention". 😊❤
Not to forget to let you know, down here in Iowa, I wore my insulated Carhart coveralls and coat just to walk 4 blocks from the parking garage to where I work in Omaha because it got to 40-50 below with the windchill.😊
Smart to dress for it! ❄❄💕💕
The Tunis lambs remind me of my two red headed granddaughters! ! I adore my granddaughters red hair ! ❄️⛄️💚🙃
I hear ya. Woke up the other day at -11f. Which is -24 Celsius. I had to carry my dog inside. She went leaping out and literally froze (shes small 20#)
Welcome to northern Illinois!❤
Always love to see a new video come out. Mark going grey has him looking the true silver fox now too!
Grinning @ how quickly they decided their favourite human had just turned into the Big Bad Sharp Thing! 😊So cute & so BIG!! 💕💕
There is snow in northern Florida. I grew up in upstate NY so I’m LOVING this weather!!
I'm in the New Orleans area. We had 6 inches of snow! I'm 66 and I've never seen that here. We've had flurries sometimes that would accumulate on the ground but nothing like what I've just witnessed. Stay warm Sandi!! I don't know how you can be in that cold and not wear gloves. You're Superwoman!
I am in KY and between several rounds of snow and bitter cold temps. One night this week it got to -3 degrees Fahrenheit. I have mobility issues and between the snow and ice that cannot melt because it is so cold, I have not been out of the house since Dec 29th. It is getting to 42 degrees Fahrenheit tomorrow so hopefully we can get the ice off the porch so I can go to my Doctor Appt for my pain treatment next week. I admire you grit with working thru your cold temps.
Yep, that ice is treacherous! Lots of falls & hip fractures! We have a product called Snow Melt (I think it might be calcium chloride??) Not salt, cuz it kills the grass 💕💕
this channel has saved me so far this winter! I love the babies, Sandi and family, including the chat. 🥰 I hope chat can help me, The white hat Sandi is wearing what is the logo, I have searched, google photos, back videos. I am going crazy not knowing!! LOL! Thank you so much!
Ah Ha! Another viewer said she thought it was from Sandi & Mark's visit to the Red Shepherdess. And it IS her toque!! Was driving me nuts! 💕💕
@elainerempel1613 So right. Hannah (the Red Shepherdess) has remarked how she doesn't understand how Sandi can keep her white toque so clean. I saw it was soiled one day, and it was back spic-and-span the very next day. She must go through tons of laundry detergent yearly! 😮
I was so excited when I got the email yesterday I was able to score and I'm sooo excited! ❤️❤️
I'm in what I call vlogmas withdrawal so when you posted I was so happy! I'm glad you asked for a running order on them ,eventually it won't be so much trouble to keep up with the mugs.😊🧡💜🧡
Yup mother nature seems to have hit the figid cold button. In northern Indiana this week the temps were -8°F with wind chills around -20°F. 🥶 While I live in the country, I'm so glad I don't have farm animals to deal with. You're a rock star for doing all this in this type of weather!
You can not compare -8 in Canada to -8 in the states. Zero in Canada is 32 degrees here, so -8 in the states is much much colder than Canada's -8
I’m absolutely in love with Piper!
Me too. And she seems to be listening better now she's a little older 💕💕
I love the comment on our lovely cold vortex. It truly reminds us how, in the coldest of days we get each year, we adapt and overcome. I also love how Piper wants to join you in the talahandler, helping. Thanks for sharing.
Piper's smart enough to know how to keep her little short-haired butt warm!! 😂💕💕
Kinsey's almost like a therapy animal: "Can I help? I'm with ya, mama! Just tell me what to do" 💕💕 & smart around the machinery💕
Sandy, please get a dolly to carry things or a small platform with wheels. It would really save your back. You work so hard.
I have one of those rolling shopping cart just to carry my every day things to save my back.
More patience then I with steaming. I mostly just turn things inside out, into the dryer with a damp towel for a bit 🤣
