Have you tried doing a hair rig with a 1inch leader before the hook so they dont feel the hook an take the whole bait an as they run it hooks them, same way you would have to get carp that are picky an pick up an spit the food out as they know the weight/difference.
I actually never tried that, I am going to have to look into that and do some research on it, thank you for the great information and tight lines to you!!!

I use the size 8 for the nuclear ant! Idk what it is about that but that ant works everywhere and pretty much the go to when it all comes down to it!

12" was out there today
The ice where I was is about 12 as well, Ice is definitely safe there and fishing has been pretty good so far. Tight lines!

Nice man I was just at tarryall today caught about 30. Biggest was 16 inch. I never do good at 11 mile
I actually never been to tarryall, I might bring my wife there so that I can guarantee her some fish since she’s never been ice fishing! 11 mile can be pretty tricky, I usually fish between 11 to 13 feet and seem to get some luck, try some white tube jigs and anything with orange and purple. Tight lines!
