Sorry for the late response! Man that is awesome to hear, please let me know how the fishing went! I’m sure your son is going to have a blast!! Best of luck man and tight lines!
Good trick I always use in 11 Mile is a small Stimulator like size 12 I tie them with CDC wing so they float well and then use a size 18 or so dropper nymph pheasant tail mostly on about 2 to 3 foot
Appreciate the advice I will have to try that! I tried doing an adjustable dry dropper and after moving and tightening the loop it ended up breaking so I’m trying to find an easier way to do it so I will definitely be giving this a shot! Tight lines my friend!
Appreciate it 💪 been living here for 3 years and this was my first time going there, definitely can’t wait to go there again, the scenery itself is worth the trip there!
@@onthelineoutdoors6974 well next summer you put a vest on her and some hip waders and take her to an easy spot with a nice backdrop….when she sees the subs pile up she’ll change her tune
Taking my son for our first trip to the canyon. Was awesome to see you have such a great day and really enjoy it out there. Congrats!

Was just out there on Saturday with the family. Love the beauty of the canyon!
Perfect place to bring the family! The views itself are enough to make you wanna go out there! Will be heading there again in the near future!
Great video! Nice place.

get up by the dam....trophy trout up there!!
I will have to give it a shot! You ever fish there around this time of the year?
Don't hold rod high, use more side angle against current. Great video, I love fishing 11 mile
Mad river outfitters has great videos on how to fight fish
Thanks for the good info, I will definitely have to implement that next trip! I’m newer to fly fishing so a lot of trial and error going on!
Gorgeous video! Just a tip, keep a finger on you fly line at the top of your grip. You'll be less likey to lose tension.
Appreciate the tip! Sorry for the late reply, just welcomed new baby to the world so had to take a little time off!
@@onthelineoutdoors6974 congratulations!
Piutyour net on your back with a magnet.
I had one but it broke! I need to buy a new one though!
Dude, you need to get the camera girl in the water w/the rod and you run the camera. 😉
I know right! You wouldn’t believe how many times I tried to get her to do it but she refuses! She only likes ice fishing!
