Being described as a legend in one's own time is certainly a blatantly abused cliché, but no one has taken a vivid imagination and unusual persona to the people with as much controversy and success as Alice Cooper.
Call him Master of Shock Rock, Black Humorist Supreme, or simply one of the era's great showmen, his mark has been undeniable. Alice Cooper has been a disturbing proposition from the very beginning. Debuting in 1970, he soon turned the music world upside down, wearing outrageous clothing and make-up, performing loud hard music framing sharp-edged lyrics. "We were into fun, sex, death and money when everybody was into peace and love," Alice explains. "We wanted to see what was next. It turned out we were next, and we drove a stake through the heart of the Love Generation."
Alice Cooper touched a deep nerve in the minds of teenagers everywhere, bringing him countless gold and platinum albums from around the world, including "Love It To Death," "Billion Dollar Babies," "Welcome To My Nightmare," and "Trash, featuring such anthems as "Eighteen," "Elected," "School's Out," and "No More Mr. Nice Guy," as well as the classics "Only Women Bleed" and "Poison."
With his influence on rock & roll long since acknowledged, there is little that Alice Cooper hasnt achieved in his remarkable career, including platinum albums, sold-out tours and any number of honors and career achievement awards. Along Came a Spider, the 25th album of a remarkable career with uncountable highlights, may require him to make more room on the mantelpiece for yet more hardware. Alice Cooper is bringing this showman ship down under on his Theatre of Death Tour... And along the way he will be stopping by the Rove Studios to chat.
I met Alice in '87 and he's one of the nicest people you'll ever meet! This is a wonderful interview he can be so funny and this shows it!
Alice Cooper
1947 - Ongoing
I'm ashamed to admit that this is the very first interview I've EVER seen of Alice Cooper *hangs head in shame* But this bloke is too awesome, he's so easygoing and funny and REAL and honest and genuine. He'd be awesome to have a chat with of an afternoon, non-alcohol beverages all around :)
KickedMangoStudios a bit late, but, definitely.
Love how he is a perfectly normal and great guy off stage.
Such a gorgeous guy. I could listen to him talk forever. Always has such great stories and is so comical in his interviews. Love him so much.
i love his interviews. hes so easy-going, funny, amicable, and just a fun guy to talk to! his interviews are never awkward and always entertaining. he always maintains a great flow with the interviewer. love him!
This is my favorite interview with Alice Cooper. I never get tired of hearing the story about the sword, haha! Love it!
SHOULD HAVE ALICE COOPER THE THEME SONG FOR JOHN WICK
He is sooo cool, no arrogance no nothing. These are the kind of people I respect.
The history this guy provides....just unreal man...so friggin cool!
Came for 7:24 but got this great revelation 5:55
Only 43k views, what?! It's Alice Cooper, one of the legend!!!
Alice is probably the funniest rock star I’ve ever come across.
I just came for Keanu.
A little too much information
@@dusty203 grow up insecure child- everything isn’t always all about you.
@@rachkate76 Whoaa I was joking - do you get the joke? lol. I liked your comment
I'm just happy about the ban at the venue in Finland. They moved the show to my hometown after they banned Alice from the Christian hall. 😂 The venue here was immediately calling that we want Alice, come here! And they did. :D
Alice... babysitted...Teodore Logan!
EXCELLENT!
Haha babysitter Alice Cooper! That would be so rad!
@Eliskoopa Actually I thought Alice looked relaxed and quite happy to talk about all that stuff on this night. The majority of Rove's viewers and audiences are early to late Generation Y kids, so it's for entertainments sake. And they are good stories - and funny too! I reckon he would have made some new fans that night, he's a very likeable guy, and I think the audience on this night responded in kind! :)
Alice (Vincent) is such a lovely orator.. pity Rove had to cut him off for the questions (time restraint I suppose)
I saw him when he was doing that tour, brilliant show.
and needles seem to be a really common phobia! Alice Cooper and Jackie Chan, to start, are both tough guys that are scared of needles haha
I think so, cuz it's such a great story, early interviewers should have treaded it like the chicken story, so I think, yeah, that's new
but who knows if it's true as well :)
BUT I LOVED IT (TO DEATH)
Saw him live... He's amazing!
This Interview Will Play Tomorrow (Friday) On NZ Television, One Week From That Night, I Will Be Watching The Legend In Action :D
This conversation is hilarious!
Whoever is going to see Alice Cooper in Australia, get there early and check out the support band - 'Electric Mary' - they'll blow your mind! x
What a legend! Wish I had the cash to see him!
best cooper interview iv seen in ages :D. it was so funny. cant wait to see him thursday and friday .
Rove is such a great host. Gotta love that guy, he's been through so much.
I felt really bad for him about the sword accident, but he made the story funny!
LOL, even the "banned in Finland" case is there... as a Finn I'm so shamed about that thing (and at the time was mad as hell since it's my hometown that he got kicked out)... Alice is the Greatest!!!
Great interview
3:16😂
Alice Cooper must be an awesome Bible study teacher.
Just realised a have the same phobia with Alice cooper
I was at his show it is fucking amazing!!!!
I love the intro to this fucking awesome.
If he taught me bilbe stuff I would listen lol
WE'RE NOT WORTHY! WE'RE NOT WORTHY! WE'RE NOT WORTHY!

Insightful interview....

09:00 Seriously, that story had me laughing.
Haha !! I am scared of needles too !!! Wow !!!

What does Rove say in the Finland part, did you slap a what?
I love that!! "Sheryl call 911"!!!! I could just see Sheryl's face!!!!!!!!!!! I would have loved it if she went out there and kicked there crazy butts!!!!!!!! Does anyone agree? Who's with me?!!!!!!!!! Thumbs up if you agree!!!!!!!!!!!
I mean the conversation below.
Stop at 5:52! Lol
Oh lord.... I am from Finland AND christian..... I am so ashamed right now.......

How I hate all these interviews - asking Alice about the same stuff all over again. Stage show, the chicken, shit like that. Sadly, no one cares about the music. I bet Alice hates these interviews as well.
I share in Facebook
phenomenal interview
Look in the description panel for your answer.
I am quite scared of needles, to be straight to the point
I have to have a needle in at least once a year and that scares the hell out of me, sort of like goku from DBZ
So Alice, you're not alone.
Kishore Shenoy how was your needle
He sorta looks like Dio
Those were the days when we had entertainment on tv, can't work out why Rove called it quits, what seems stranger is how no one decided to step up to the plate and take up where Rove left off. Tv these days is so boring, the 7pm project is so leftist and all we have is bloody news which is so depressing, who wants to get home after a day working to watch disaster after disaster, wtf can anyone do about it. Get back on the box Rove, the world is your oyster.
Slap a fishmonger
Its okay.... It was not your fault.... :D
@myfeeling4you what about talkin bout my generation
I'm the same way with needles, cant stand em
hogunbidgee
@HARDROCKISAWESOME It's ok but the host whatever his name is is a jerk, I don't find him funny and in reality he isn't, the people on there, Amanda and Josh make it, I watch it occasionally but with digital tv and 16 channels most of the programs are crap.
