This is the best Interview I have ever watched. Maybe it's because of Alice Cooper. You have to know I love him and his music. His style is so amazing. I like it how he deals with his past (alcohol and so on) and I dont want to ignore his humor in this comment he is perfect😍 I think I never laughed and smiled so much while I watched an Interview.
Andrew Denton is a brilliant interviewer, he's very quick witted but doesn't try to steal the limelight, quietly retreats and lets them talk. He's very respected here in Australia
I beg your pardon My sexy young yank girl. !!!!!!!!!!!!! Ps. greetings from a old fucked up wanker from God's Garden ( Bonny Scotland--------Where else? )
That was the best Alice Cooper interview I've seen. Excellent Denton. Very interesting stories, with really sensitive recall. Now doing the Hollywood Vampires, a brilliant production.
Saw Alice last night here in Brisbane Australia. (25 Oct 17). It was the 3rd time I've seen him and my wife's first. Needless to say Alice has a new fan. Special mention to Nita Strauss (lead guitar) and Glen Sobel (Drums). They absolutely kick arse.
I know every fact but I love to hear Vince (Alice) talk about his life. Back in the 70s, as straight-laced as my parents were you would think that my love of Alice and Kiss would freak them out. My Dad got the "shtick" right off the bat and calmed my Mom down. My Dad knew it was for entertainment's sake. At that time in my Dad's life, he was an atheist and thought the whole Satan stuff with Alice/Kiss was hogwash. It's a good thing that my Dad came to Christ and became born again in 2001. He passed on Nov. 2nd of 2009 and the Summer of 2009 was the best time I spent with my Dad. We talked everyday all day. He wanted to be a vampire so he could be immortal.... I told him that he had lived one good life and that is better than a hundred as a vampire you regret. Vince, if I don't see you again at the Hard Rock in Biloxi then I'll see you on the other side. All my love to you and your family, Gordon
I never got the shock rock thing, but then again didn't get into Alice until the 80's - I think once you hear a couple of ballads you already take the guy to heart
i love alice cooper, the artist and the original band. i always say that those first seven records are the seven best records ever recorded, and that never again will anyone do what they did. but when i listen to alice talk, i see my antithesis. is that what they call a paradox? several times i have looked up the word paradox, and always i feel like my ears are going to bleed. 🌪👻
did see him and concert and totally rocks and what is soooo interesting about Alice is that he is soo normal! and sooo dambed cool! really just a great guy believe it or not and seriously Alice will you be my dad?
Alice you drinking describes me to a tee I quit drinking 17 years ago cold turkey had a grand mall sezure. Bit my tounge all too shreds but IAM feeling better than ever. Love you 80s song POISON it Rock's
I guess....I thought the band was called Alice Cooper, not necessarily him alone...I worked at the Milwaukee show in 1979. I love the comment he made when his kids think that he is cooler than their friends are!
Sadly men actually bleed more emotionally, which is why men mostly commit suicide. Because women naturally speak about their feelings more fluently. So that's not true.
He actually sort of corrected that in the song Burning Our Bed when he sings, "Baby you're burning me, sometimes a man can bleed, baby I'm burning out bed"
Women also commit suicide,..not mostly men.And not all women talk about their feelings. It isnt a "natural" thing to just open up for many people. I dont know why you think that. That's just not true.
It's not that i don't like Alice Cooper, on the contrary i have been a fan since the beginning. But it's a little odd, when it comes to music and politics, it's always the republican who don't wanna mix the two. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I saw this guy at a medium venue in Toledo, Ohio in 1970. His band was playing a vamp and he came onstage on his knees with a hammer and started banging the microphone stand with it. I shouted out “you suck Alice” and got some serious stink eye from the crowd, but hey, he did suck. So now he’s a rock icon and has been inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame. He was inducted at the same time as Tom Waits. Love Tom Waits. Alice, not so much. Goth look, crappy writing, yet he was able to make millions. I weep for our culture.
I could listen to Alice talk all day
Mike Dearing Ikr same
thought i was the only one ;)
alwayssme no you're not alone 😆
Alice has the best stories and he's a very intelligent person and very nice
Oof me too.
I haven’t even listened to this yet and I agree😊

That interviewer did a great job, too -- asked interesting, well-informed questions and then got out of the way.

He does have a gd sense of humour

Those first 7 albums with the original line-up were all brilliant, almost impossible to pick a favourite album or tune.
did see him and concert and totally rocks and what is soooo interesting about Alice is that he is soo normal! and sooo dambed cool! really just a great guy believe it or not and seriously Alice will you be my dad?
I'd love to sit down and talk with him all day....and Ozzy Osbourne cause why not
Bet his children have some great stories!!! Sounds like he is a great father!!!
Alice you drinking describes me to a tee I quit drinking 17 years ago cold turkey had a grand mall sezure. Bit my tounge all too shreds but IAM feeling better than ever. Love you 80s song POISON it Rock's
Good interview!👍🏼😉
I hope to get a man like Alice one day, and I don't mean a rock star, but personality wise.
We were British teenagers and we loved it!
He hungout with the coolest famous rockers \m/
All dead....he's still rocking.
That was great!
I guess....I thought the band was called Alice Cooper, not necessarily him alone...I worked at the Milwaukee show in 1979. I love the comment he made when his kids think that he is cooler than their friends are!

An intelligent, loving, kind and awesome Jesus Freak!!!!
Love Alice - Rocker and Showman - Adopted Brit......He was wrong in this interview tho, it was Mary Whitehouse that was anti-Alice.
Why did Andrew bring politics into it ? Such a shame and I disagree with Alice, but I love him. Great artist
Thank you, well said. I agree!

but you weren't a villain...now many years later it is all becoming clear. Its just truth and alot cant see.
Alice ..please don't talk about politics!!! Talk about music !!! Politics you know shit!!!
Keep politics out of music that's why we listen to music to get away from politics
would you like to Alice about Ministry
???
Hero
Sadly men actually bleed more emotionally, which is why men mostly commit suicide. Because women naturally speak about their feelings more fluently. So that's not true.
He actually sort of corrected that in the song Burning Our Bed when he sings, "Baby you're burning me, sometimes a man can bleed, baby I'm burning out bed"
Ah yeah, we all say things that aren't correct, and that's an accurate generalization.
Women also commit suicide,..not mostly men.And not all women talk about their feelings. It isnt a "natural" thing to just open up for many people. I dont know why you think that. That's just not true.

Listening to music to get away from politics both political parties sucks
Then explain, "Try That in a Small Town."
The laugh track is cringy
Interviewers are freaks
