I remember the song but this is the first time seeing the actual production. Very cool to see that it aired on The Smother’s Brothers show-the guys were way ahead of their time. #RIPTommy ❤
I got Dennis Dunaway's book and enjoyed it. He covered this period of Alice Cooper , , and originally the whole band was called Alice Cooper. until Vince the singer took the name for himself and a few years late left the band. BTW, Dennis Dunaway was the original bass player. Good read for Alice fans.
Though "Unfinished Sweet" is from the 1973 Alice Cooper album "Billion Dollar Babies," this TV appearance is from the January 1975 premier episode of the short-lived "Smothers Brothers Show" on NBC. By this time, Alice had abandoned the original band, and his solo "Welcome To My Nightmare" album would be released the next month.
Oh My goodness. I don't remember this. Now that I've seen it I could never have imagined it. The lollipop at the end!!!!! Where's Glen? Is this where they met?
Alice Cooper has always put on a good show and he still does put on a good show and The Smothers Brothers also rocked.🤘🤘

Alice Cooper, my first live concert with friends, 1973
Thanks, this was real then and now.
Lucky you! I've been listening to AC since '89 and my first live was in 2006
Did you happen to see him in Pittsburgh, April 6, 1973? I'm looking for a ticket or just to see what the ticket looked like. Thank you.

What a wild show for that era. 😳
Heck. It's wild today. 🤣
I saw this on TV when it aired. Loved it then and so cool to see it after all these years. Thanks for posting.

Same here.
Alice on network TV back in the day, so cool to see it now...............School's out forever!
Saw him and the original band perform that song in March '73, Billion Dollar Babies tour.
The production looks like pre-Welcome to My Nightmare. Almost as if this was a practice run for what was about to come in the next few months.
You are correct!
Alice Cooper; ❤🎉😊 What a sick mind! I love it!
Alice is the OG
This is awesome, what year is this?
1973
