I'm not sure why the algo insists that I watch this old video, but I finally clicked! Our Phoenix local boy when he was younger. Nice. Everyone around here likes him - he's VERY likable. Devoid of rockstar ego. Intelligent. Well-spoken. He used to do local radio spots and shows all the time.

Alice looks like my first wife in this interview. Same hair and face shape. Haven't talked to her since 2004. I think she's in prison in Spain somewhere for arson.

Same here, wonderful album as are all of these so-called 'blackout' albums they're intelligent hard rock with a funny bone unlike the airhead metal era that would follow.

It is amazing when Alice came back in 1986 how a few of his views changed. He now tours much more than 3 weeks at a time (even in 2020) and tours overseas all the time. He still is tremendous live and still putting out great albums.

This looks like about 1981 or 1982 at the time of his drug addiction. His thoughts really wander here like his interview on the Tom Snyder Show in 1982. I feel he never did look good with his hair up, but he always strived for the weirdness, and still put on good shows at that time. Looks like he had a problem with his teeth, from all the booze and drugs. From various videos and interviews you can see this. He was probably embarrassed and went through a lot of strife and pain. Now in the present, he has a gorgeous smile. This was a real treat, this interview, and thanks for posting it.

I was at that concert at the Sunrise in Florida in 1981. It was my first concert of many and it was the best. We missed the opening band called the Spiders due to my friends car overheating on Alligator Ally...but we arrived just as the show opened with Who Do You Think We Are. Alice mixed old songs like Working Up a Sweat and Raped and Freezin (he did a mexican hat dance at the end)
with his newer stuff like Pain and You Look in Rags where he danced with a rag doll. Awesome show!!
