    You did a fantastic video coverage of the 2020 Toyota Sienna - in all their versions. You know your vehicles and how to cover them. Everyone likes to say things about their favorites. Fine.
    I like your frankness down below. WE have a 2012 Sienna and will upgrade shortly. Your in depth video made me feel right at home. I wanted to seriously look at Honda - but Consumer Reports killed that.
    HATS OFF to CAR CONFECTIONS - and you guys are young and bright - I look forward to seeing you do professional commercials for T.V. and Features.

    We bought a fully loaded Limited Sienna when this version was newly released in May of 2010 (it's considered a 2011). Just passed 180,000 miles with nothing required but regular maintenance and new tires. It is a pleasure to drive and hubby & now grown children still choose this to ride in over the Lexus GX. I don't hesitate recommending it. I would like to drive something a little 'cooler' but have a hard time giving up all of the conveniences :)

      @@CarConfections The thing is there's is no need for a TRD Sienna. Because, the Sienna is family hauler & it's definitely not going to do well for sales & you don't buy minivan to go drag racing, same thing goes for the Highlander. If you a want TRD family hauler Toyota only offers the 4runner TRD & sequoia TRD. The thing is Nobody is not going to buy a TRD Sienna & Highlander. (Even we all know they both come in AWD)

    Should have done an actual acceleration test. My mom has one of these and it actually feels sporty when your extremely heavy on the gas
    One time, we were pulling out to an intersection and couldn't see if a car was comming, and as soon we got to the middle a speeding car came out of nowhere and my mom, not knowing what to do, floored it. And thanks to the quick acceleration of the Sienna, we didn't get hit. I looked out the mirror and it didn't even look like the guy who almost hit us even braked.

      PURCELL LASH I drove every minivan made as a Taxi driver many years,,,, they all break if the tracks get dirty and The Fuses for it are not changed,,,,, Check that out before you spend money,,,,,, also as the grow older the sensors could go out , it affects the shutting opening,,,, also take your time when you press the buttons, not too fast(don’t let kids punch on them) when the button is pressed to open or close let it finish before you open or close it back..... treat it good not rough and they will last....

      Same here. 2006 running great at 149K. 2nd gen has a lot better layout than the 3rd gen, with the more useful 2nd row middle seat, door arm rest storage, multi-adjustable arm rests, better color options, etc...
      I recently test drove a FWD 2019 ltd and despite more HP and 8 gears, it felt like it had exactly the same power as my 13 year old van with 215 HP / 5 speed auto.
      Also, look at the initial depreciation hit on the new ones. 25% drop in 1 year - Ouch!

    • @CarConfections
      @CarConfections  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I did some Googling and it appears that it didn't have that ability any of the prior years to 2020. It has an older style power tailgate, which operates manually in some situations

    • @lillypatience
      @lillypatience 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@CarConfections Thank you. I googled too and read the functionality did exist in the older ones but I found nothing for 2020. My local dealership said it was my model XLE that couldn't do it, and I found nothing on that either. Oh well...

      @@CarConfections I got it to work by taking bits and pieces of different videos and articles. Position the hatch where you want it and hold the button that closes the hatch. It will move on you but hold it until you hear two beeps. Now a different issue, Toyota can't figure out how to enable WiFi with Verizon. Verizon can't find the IMEI number...so my dealership says I have to switch my CELL PHONE service to Verizon. I said HELL NO and that is not how it is supposed to work.

    I'm always a fan of the third generation Sienna with it's boxy shape. But the fourth generation Sienna takes a whole new level with it's sleeker design. But 2020 Is the last model year of this third generation Sienna being built, also is the last model year to get a V6. The fourth generation Sienna is all hybrid, no gasoline V6 powertrain option. The fourth generation Sienna won't offer a 3.5L gasoline V6 powertrain option maybe probably for the 2023, 2024 or the 2025 model years.

      It’s a matter of perspective, in an engineers point of view, old designs are more mature which means all flaws are all rectified hence the design is more stronger and better overall. Siennas are almost close to Land Cruisers in terms of durability.
